Rain talked to the president of their dance group, "Cassie, I have a favor to ask."
"What's that?"
"Can you text Alex that we have a practice today at 4PM? Please?"
"Okay, not a biggie."
"Thanks Cass!"
"Sure thing."
Cassie texted Alex that they have a practice. Rain called Jem, "Jem, Alex is going to be at our practice room. Cassie texted her that we have a practice, so be there before 4PM okay."
"Thank so much Rain."
"Welcome, ask her everything that you wanna know and be honest with her."
"Copy that."
Alex arrived at the practice room, she saw Jem dancing Earned It. She was amazed by Jem's dancing skill. It's sexy but at the same time there's a swag with her movements. She didn't interrupt Jem, she let her finish the song.
Jem saw Alex in the mirror. "Hey, you're here." Alex is clapping "Well done, well done." Jem became shy, she blushed. "We are the others?" Alex asked Jem.
"I wanted to talk to you." Jem locked the door. "Wait, so there's no practice at all?"
"Yeah, I hope it will not make you mad."
"Not really but I hate people when they lie"
"Sorry, I should've asked you personally. 😔"
"I hope this is the last time you'll do this Jem."
"Sorry." Jem starting crying
"No, don't cry." Alex is uncomfortable when someone is crying. "Is everything okay?"
"No, everything is not okay! Rain told me that you're sick, I tried calling you but you're not answering. I texted you a hundred times but you didn't reply even if you've read them. I am started to think that you don't like to be friends with me or maybe you hate me." Jem expressed those words while crying.
Alex hugged her, "Stop crying." But Jem cried loudly.
"Hey, listen to me." Alex is wiping Jem's tears and held her face, "Listen, I'm not mad at you Jem."
"I don't get it, did I do something wrong? Before, you always ask me if I am okay. You wanted to go out with me or visit me in the condo. You constantly text and call me." Jem is still crying.
Alex took a deep breath, "I will be honest Jem, you're right I stopped doing those things to you coz someone is already doing it. Keane right? He's gonna take care of for sure, asks you if you're okay. Visit you in the condo, ask you go out on a date. I don't want to be a villain in your relationship. If I continue doing those things to you he might feel uncomfortable. That's the reason why I kept distance from you. If that's hurting you, I am really sorry. It's hard for me too."
"Sorry, I didn't realize those things but why you would stop that's what friends do right?"
Alex pointed on her heart, "This, this stupid thing inside of me wants to do something else. My brain doesn't want to follow this thing."
Jem was shocked, she finally get it. Alex doesn't want to fall inlove with her coz she already has a boyfriend. "Are you getting my point Jem?" Alex asked her.
"I'm sorry, I'm so numb."
"You don't have to be sorry, it is my fault. Now that everything is cleared out, let's just be friends in school."
Alex went out of the pratice room and ran holding her chest. She's crying. Ang sakit sakit.
