It is the graduation day, everyone is excited. "Alex, I can't believe that we will be graduating today." "I know right, at last we're done with this school. Though, I can't remember everything, I feel like I enjoyed studying here. Alex, Rain and Jem are part of the students with honors. "Boys and Girls, gather here. Once your name is called, walk slowly towards the stage and meet with your parents at the center aisle, okay?" "Yes, Miss." Alex saw Jem crying while on a phone call. "Mom, can you make it?" Jem asking her mom over the phone. "Anak, I am sorry. I can't make it." Jem is trying not to cry, "It's okay mom. Sanay na ako. Bye." Jem cried and ran going to the restroom.
Alex followed Jem, "Jem, are you okay?" "Yeah, I am. You can go now." "Okay." Alex waited for Jem outside the restroom. "You're still here. I said I am fine." "I don't think so, what's the matter?" "Nothing." "You can tell me anything." "I am fine." Alex held Jem's face and wiped her tears, "I will listen." "It is my mom, she can't make it today. I am really upset about it." "I'm sorry, I can ask mom to accompany you once your name is called." "No, I'm fine." "I insist."
Alex called her mom, "Mom, can you do me a favor?" "Yes, what is it?" "Jem's mom can't make it today, can you join her on the stage later?" "Yeah, sure." "Thanks mom, you're the best." After a few hours the graduation is done. Jem approached Alex' mom, "Tita, thank you for joining me on the stage." "No problem hija." "Are you feeling better Jem?" Alex asked Jem. "Yes, thank you." "Are you going home now?" "Yeah, I don't have someone to celebrate the graduation with so I'll just go home." "You can join us instead." Alex and Rain's family prepared a thanksgiving party for them. "Ahh, thank you but I'll just go." "C'mon, join us." "Hija, please come. Despidida na rin namin ni Alex." Alex' mom.
"Despidida?" "Yes, we're going to Paris Jem. Mom has a job offer there." "Ahh, I see. Thanks for the invitation Alex." "Let me know if you changed your mind." "Okay, bye." Jem went home instead and browsed through Alex' diary again.

"Merry Christmas Jem! I hope you're having a great Christmas. I prepared a simple gift for you but I don't think I can give it to you. I am happy seeing you from afar, being one of your closest friends that's enough for me. You know what, I made a wish, I hope it'll come true someday. To have a romantic dinner with you with the Eiffel tower view in Paris. Libre lang naman mangarap eh. As always I will love you silently."
