The doctors stepped out from the operating room, Alex and Rain's family arrived at the hospital. "Who's the family of the patients." The doctor asked, "Rain Park, will be moved to her private room. The operation went well so she's not in a critical status. For Alex Manoban, we still need to observe her for the next few days. Right now, the patient is in coma, she'll be moved to ICU." After hearing those words from the doctor Alex' mom passed out because of shock. She was rushed to the ER for checking.
Jem went to the restroom to cry, "This is all my fault." After a few minutes, Jem went to Alex' mom to check her. Alex' mom is sleeping, she sat beside the bed and fell asleep.
Rain just regain her consciousness, "A-a-a-l-e-x." "Anak, this is mom. Are you feeling okay?" "Alex." Rain kept on saying Alex' name. "Anak, she's fine. You need to take more rest para makauwi na tayo." She's having a hard time to speak but she's crying, she remembered the accident how she tried to wake Alex up after their car flipped. She tried to remove her seatbelt but she can't, she slowly lose her consciousness.
It's been 24 hours after the accident but Alex is still unconscious. Jem went to her room, since she's in the ICU the visitors have a limited visiting hours. Jem held Alex' hand, "Alex, please wake up. I am really sorry, I can't forgive myself." She continued crying. Alex' mom is waiting outside when Jem came out from Alex' room. "Tita, are you feeling well now." "Yes, hija." "Tita, I think this is all my fault." Jem broke down in tears. "It was an accident, let's just pray for her fast recovery."
"Mom, I want to see Alex." Rain. "Anak, we will be traveling back to Manila for your medication." "Just let me see Alex first mom, please." They went to Alex' room and she saw Jem, "What are you doing here? I don't get it, after all I can't believe it." "Rain, I am really sorry." "Please, if you still respect Alex, leave us alone." Rain went to Alex' room, "Alex, please wake up." "Anak na we need to go na." Alex' mom hugged Rain, "Rain, get some more rest ha, Alex will be waiting for you. Add her in your prayers and I believe she'll be awake soon."
