Rain got a call from Jem. "Rain, I want you guys to come over here in my place. I cooked food, let Alex know that I cooked her faves. Keane is here as well, let's bond."
"I'll talk to Alex first, she not feeling well eh."
"What happened to her?"
"I don't know." Rain doesn't want to tell Jem about Alex' check up. "I'll keep you posted Jem. Bye."
Jem is calling Alex but she's not answering. "Why she's not answering."
"Hey, babe. Are you okay?" Keane
"Yeah, Rain said that Alex is sick. I am worried."
"Maybe she's resting, don't call her yet."
"You're right."
Rain went to Alex'. Rain knows where the key is located to get in to Alex' house.
"Alex? Aaalex? AAALLLEEEXXX?" No one's answering.
"Where is she?" Rain went upstairs to Alex' room and she saw Alex sleeping. "Alex, wake up." She's not bothered at all. Rain started shaking Alex for her to wake up. Rain noticed that Alex' temperature is higher than usual, she has a fever. Rain took a thermometer and check her temp, Alex is at 40 degrees Celsius. "OMG Alex, what happened to you."
"I miss you Jem." Alex said those words while she's asleep.
"Poor thing, you can't miss her that way Alex. She's already taken."
Rain saw Alex' phone and there are 5 missed call from Jem. "Jem, please don't bother Alex anymore."
Rain started rubbing Alex with a cold towel. Alex keeps on saying Jem's name. "Alex, I'm Rain." Rain prepared food for Alex so she can take medicines for her fever. After few hours, Alex woke up. She saw Rain sleeping beside her. She stares at Rain, "What are you doing here?" Alex lay down on the bed again and hugged Rain. "Rain, I'm hungry." Alex whispered to Rain. "Mmmm, you're awake. I prepared some food."
"C'mon let's eat."
"Okay, are you feeling better?"
"Yes, thank you."
Alex grabbed her phone and saw Jem's missed calls and text messages. "Hey, Rain. Did you tell Jem that I am sick?"
"Yeah, sort of."
"Ah, that's why."
"She's inviting us though."
"Yeah, let's just be civil with her. I mean, I don't want her to feel that I am making a distance between us." Alex' face is sad.
"Alex, it's okay not to be okay. I know it's hard but you'll get through it."
"Thanks Rain for always cheering me up."
"We're like siblings ya know."
