Exactly 72 hour from the accident, Alex finally regained her consciouness. The doctor and the nurses rushed to her room to check her vitals. Alex' mom is waiting outside. The doctor said that Alex is now conscious and she wanted to her mom. "Alex, anak. Thank God you're awake." Alex uttered "Where's Rain?" "Anak, Rain is okay now. She went back to Manila." "What happened to me mom? Why I am here?" "You can't remember?" "No, mom." "I'll talk to the doctor Anak, I'll be back."
"Your daughter is in a Post-traumatic amnesia, she might not remember the accident but the good thing is she remembers you and other friends. We will need to further evaluate her once she can fully talk."
"Thank you Doc!"
Alex' mom went back to her room. Her phone rang, Jem called Alex' mom to check on Alex. "Hi, tita! I just want to know how's Alex." "Thank God she's awake." "Really, that's good news po." "Mom, is that Rain?" "No anak, it's Jem." "Jem? Jem who?" "Anak, she's your classmate." "I can't remember her." "Jem, hija I need to end the call para maasikaso ko si Alex." "No worries po." "Tomorrow morning we'll go back to Manila for her medication." "Okay po. Take care po. Bye."
The next morning they travel going back to Manila for Alex' continuous medication. Rain is waiting for Alex to arrive at St. Luke's, after a few minutes they've arrived. Alex is on a wheelchair, "Rain!" "Alex, I miss you pal!" "Missed you too, how are you?" "I'm good but I am having nightmares because of the accident." "Accident? Ah yeah, mom told me that we had an accident." "Wait, you can't remember?" "Not at all." Rain had a blank stare to Alex, "I'm okay Rain, I think it is a good not to remember those tragic moment." Some of their classmates went to the hospital to visit Alex, she can't remember some of them but she pretended she knew them all. "Guys, thank you so so much for visiting me, I'll see you soon."
Jem went to the hospital but she's so hesitant to go inside the room because of what Rain said last week. Alex' mom went outside and saw Jem. "Hija, you can go inside. Tamang tama Alex is awake." "Thank you po tita." She went to the room and saw Rain and Alex eating. Alex greeted her with a smile, "Hi, are you from LHS as well? C'mon let's eat!" "No I am fine." "Your name again?" Alex asked Jem, it is clear that Alex can't seem to remember Jem. "My name is Jem." "Ah, you have a cute name." "Thanks." "I got a basket of fruits for you." "Wow, thanks!" "Welcome, I'll see you soon." "Okay, thank you for visiting me again." Jem was devastated, she went outside holding her chest. She can't believe that Alex can't remember her.
"Rain, that girl, Jem. Are we close?" "Hmm, no. She's just one of our classmates." "Oh, okay." "Alex after we eat you need to rest na ha." "Yes po mam."
"Funny." Rain talked to Alex'mom, "Tita, si Alex po may mga tao syang nakalimutan." "Yes, Rain. The doctor said na she has a post-traumatic amnesia because of the accident." "Okay po, it is better that way."
