Allen got a call from Raz Alex' secretary. "Hi, did you get my email? Are closing the deal?" "Sorry, I am not sure yet, the rate is far from the original contract price." "I know, since we'll not be accepting other clients our rate should be higher than usual." Jem saw her secretary, she went outside and whispered "Who's that?" "Director, this is the photographer's office." "Let me talk to her." Allen handed the phone to Jem. "Hello, this is Director Kim from Designs USA. I would like to speak to your boss regarding her rate, it is way higher than the original contract." "Hi, Director Kim. Please on the line."
Raz to Alex, "Boss, the director wants to talk to you regarding your rate. I think it is really high, do you want to speak with her?" "Okay, tell her that if she doesn't want to agree with the new contract it's fine. Have them look for a new photographer instead, I will not changing my rate." "Director Kim, my boss told me that if you'll not agree with the rates you may want to look for another photographer." "Oh well, is she around? Like, can hand the phone to her?" "She doesn't want to talk to you." "What kind of nonsense is that? Give her the phone." Jem will burst anytime soon. "Boss, she wants to talk to you." "Hello." Alex changed the range of her voice. "Hi, can we negotiate on your daily rate?" "Well, that's the minimum rate I can give you." "Okay, how about $800 per day?" "That's too low Miss. Okay, $850 deal or no deal?" "Fine!" "Alright, we have a deal. Let our secretaries talk about the modification of the contract. See you next week."
Allen and Raz finalized the contract. "By the way Allen, please send the initial deposit to the bank account on the contract." "Yeah, sure. Everything is okay now." "Thank you, Bye."
