Splatoon Splatroad Skyroad: My take on Hachi 2

(Wrote this while waiting for it to come out since it had taken quite a while. Note: this is old, cringy, and outdated. )

The boat ride was pretty calm, and Hachi looked at the surrounding area as they went. Of course, everyone was slightly on edge since...you know, water. But other than that it seemed to be pretty nice.

Hachi began thinking about those two Skylings that were hunting the group down. He looked up. The sky was clear, but very open. They would be very vulnerable if the Skylings attacked now. He felt his heartbeat rise, his breaths quicken. No, don't make the others concerned, don't make the others concerned, don't-

"Hachi, you okay?" Prince asked, seeing Hachi stare off into the distance.

sTAY CALM-

"Y-yeah, in alright. Still just...shaken from what's happened? You know? Hehe...." he sighed.

"Ah, I understand. Well, don't worry! We're almost there!" and with that, Prince pointed to an area behind Hachi, as Prince was in the back end of the boat and Hachi was by the front.

Hachi turned around to see some mountains in the distance, one was definitely larger and taller than the rest.

"That must be sky peak..." he said.

"Oh, we're almost there?" Gloves perked up from toying with his fingers.

"Seems to be it." Hachi said.

"Okay, so before we reach the area, do we have a plan?" Nana asked, to nobody in particular.

"Well, we have the wing problem, the needles, the squidnapped, those blades...." Rider began listing off the things he remembered. He then noticed Goggles. The others seemed to notice as well.

"Goggs, you've been pretty quiet back there, you alright?" Gloves asked.

'Hahah, wait until those idiots pay for what they did to everyone....'

"Goggles?" Emperor was also concerned.

Goggles looked up, with a happy smile on his face.

"Yup, I'm alright! I'm just thinking of a plan as well!"

Rider sighed in relief. At least it wasn't anything concerning. Hachi also thought. He was good with plans, he could probably organize things. The main mission would be to rescue back the stolen cephalos and flee sky peak, find a cure for the squid/octo form potion, and get weapons ready. The only problems in said plan were the fact the Skylings would just track them down, and the antidote would take a questionable amount of time. Okay, focus on something else then. The potion itself perhaps? The group would need to train to be faster and more maneuverable in their cephalo form in case they were shot. They could of course, try and use it back at a Skyling when they had the chance, but they still might have a disadvantage due to the wings still existing. The blades? Well, they might be sharp, but sharp doesn't mean tough. They'd just use whatever was lying around them. Wings would be an issue, but then again, they could sort of use superjumping as an alternative? They had very limited maneuverability in the sky though, so use it sparingly. Maybe they could try and injure the wing so the Skyling couldn't fly? Well, the main task at hand would be the ones taken. Who knew where they were hidden. Would they be forced to fight the Skylings first? That part still needed to be worked on.

"Alright, I've got some ideas, but we're going to need more planning." Hachi spoke.

The boat hit the side of the land, and everyone got out.
