(Just in case anyone was "upset" at the new chapter bc I know there are some people who dislike when the villains easily defeat the heroes and mock them for it)

Nexus Laser City.

The place where Light and Dark collided.

Well.

Were about to collide.

The previous king had sent the group here after seeing that these strange creatures had appeared. Having done their research from the previous shadowling experiences in history, the group knew that these were luminous, creatures with control of light, but they couldn't exactly use it like they could. this fight was pretty risky, as even though it was nighttime, they still had the ability to flash lights into faces. They had spotted them on top of a building that they didn't bother to examine, and had quietly leapt over. However, the creatures were about to make their move on the plan, which is when Noir came out and decided to talk to them.

"Oh? What's this? A plan, I see. Well thought out, I must say. However, I'm afraid I won't be able to let you do that."

The sea monster squinted at him, as if trying to do something.

"What's he up to, Hex?" Hessomight snarled.

"I...I can't read it. I can't-HOW ARE YOU-"

"Oh, trying to read my mind, are you? Well then, I suppose I should just do that to you! Hmm..."

Noir began reading as Hex let out a series of frustrated growls.

"Oh for COD'S SAKE LET ME PUNCH THE GUY INTO PIECES!" Lobelia roared.

"Hm. Sea monster, Luminous. Born in the Dragon's Reef, blessed with mind powers...let the power get to his head? Oh dear...and that's why he has four dark eyes? Wow. Thought he was born with it. Oh well" Noir shrugged.

"That's it, I'm done with this."

Lobelia rushed forwards, fist outstretched, about to punch Noir into the roof of the building. However, just as she was about to, a HUGE black wolf came in last second and bit her arm. She pulled back, screaming in anger, but the wolf held on. Noir looked at the wolf, as the rest of the Luninous stared at it. It was shorter than Hex, but it was still big.

"Really Pitch, I could have just dodged..." Noir said.

"Ah. Well. Whatever. You take on your luminous or whatever and I'll handle this weirdo" Pitch grumbled, jaws still clamped shut onto Lobelia.

Noir was about to rush forward, but felt something cool his legs up. He quickly pulled out his twilight longsword and slashed at it, and they loosened up, as Celadon converted back to being visible, screaming in pain.

"Just because you're invisible doesn't mean you're thin air" Noir sneered.

Amaryllis and Flavo took their chance at Noir, while Mareiah summoned her small fish robots. However, all of them were annihilated by a flying hammer that also nearly hit Mareiah, has she not ducked in time. Noir slashed at Celadon to get him to fly away, and then turned towards the other two. The swords easily outranged the two, and the knife was knocked out of Flavo's hands. He also sent Amaryllis flying before she could even get to him.

"A little assistance would be nice" he said, and Kuro, Negro, and Ebony leapt onto the roof from their hiding spots.

They went after their luminous while Noir continued looking for Celadon. He noticed Hex was seemingly trying to stare at all of this teammates at once, and immediately summoned a shadow spoke right in Hex's direction, which snapped him out of it. He then began reading more on him.
