 Mic. POV

It was Snowing. Small, white snowflakes drifted down from the sky. The area I was at, being the park, was silent except for an occasional car passing, or truck horn or my gentle footsteps in the snow. A soft crunch was heard every time I stepped. I had bought a hot cocoa and went to find a seat to sit in. About a minute later, I found one, covered in snow. I brushed it off and sat down, the warm cocoa heating my hands. It was nice, being in this serene, nearly silent park, with snow everywhere. Then it happened.

I saw a figure in the distance, very faint yet somehow visible. It was slowly walking toward where I was, so I made space and tried to act like I didn't hear or see him. He sat down, and I couldn't help but try and get a glance of him. His face was pale, and his coat was a dark purple. He had a dark colored scarf around his neck and a hood was covering his face. I decided I might as well talk to him.

"Hey" I said.

He didn't reply for a while so I said, "You want some cocoa? It's really good"

He turned to look at me, the smell of the chocolate was filling my nose. It was then he spoke.

"Sure"

I passed him the cup, and watched him drink it. His skin color slowly returned and I saw a smile form on his mouth when he was done.

"It really is good" he said. He had a slightly deep voice, but it wasn't too low of a tone.

"If you want more, you can have it" I say.

"No, That's ok" he passes me the cup.

I smile and watch him, then I remember.

"Oh, by the way, I'm Microphone, what's your name"?

"Well uh, it's..."

But before he finishes his sentence, a snowball whizzes in between us. I turn around, and see a guy with blue earmuffs throwing snowballs at people. I don't know what to do, I'm not good with aim. The boy also has a black jacket and a light blue scarf along with, what I belive is dirty blonde hair.

The person that's next to me stands up, and says, "Get me a snowball."

I immediately get down and start on one. I may not be good at aim, but I surely am good at making snowballs. It takes me only a few seconds to make one, and I pass it to him. He throws it with deadly accuracy, and it hits the other guy right in the face. I start making more in case this gets serious, hands shuffling through the snow, but the guy just runs away.

"Pass another one, NOW."

I do so, and he throws it with such aim again, that this time, it hits him square in the bum. I laugh, and watch as a girl with a white ornament in her hair goes over to him and helps him up. I look up at the teen who threw and see that he's smiling.

I beam, then ask, "Do you want to come to my house?"

"Sure, why not."

Later, we arrive at my house. I get the fire going, and then offer to help him with his coat. He unzips it, and I see a grey shirt underneath. Then, he takes off his hood. A section of light grey hair falls down, covering the side of his face.

"Ugh, it took forever to get it up. Now I'm going to have to put it back up again. Oh well."

I try not to laugh as he hands me the coat, then he sits down and started to untie his boots. I reach over to help him, but his hand reaches over too, and our hands touch each other's. We both glance up, and notice something I didn't before. His eyes are a light blue, and the reflect off the firelight. I quickly remember what I was doing, and blush as I take my hand off. He looks back down, and I watch him untie his boots, then bring them over to the heater to warm up.

"So uh....didn't get you name yet..."

He remains silent, sitting down in front of the fire.

"Sorry, I kinda don't-"

"S-sorry, just kinda uhh...thought...."

"No, no, it's fine."

"Ah..."

"So...what were you doing out there in the cold?"

"That's what I wanted to ask you"

"Heh, I was just taking a walk..."

"Same!"

We smiled at the stupidity of ourselves.
