Retro vs modern splatfest

The two Octolings were in the lobby. Echo hadn't started the splatfest yet, so he had some catching up to do. Amari on the other hand, was a champ already, having started earlier.
And by earlier, they mean like 2 in the morning.
The two had decided on doing a team match, and boy was that hectic.
Amari kept falling off platforms in the Shifty station the first time they played, and there were SO MANY Modern vs Modern matches. Smh this was why Marina lost so much.
Turns out later, Ari hadn't started either. She and Am had played some while Echo was away, but eventually they were all able to play together.
There were many more mishaps along the way, such as DCs and team joinings, but overall, it was fun, and Echo looked forward to seeing them the next day.
