Four's P.O.V:
X was sitting so close to me, but for some reason I didn't mind. If it was anyone else, I'd zap them. But it was X. He was warm against me, the crisp night Winter air making me slightly shiver. I finally know for sure this time what this feeling is.
X's P.O.V:
It's love.
I know it.
We end up binging Glee the entire night until I fall asleep on Four.
Four's P.O.V:
X falls asleep on me.
Shoot.
He's snoring softly, his arms wrapped around me. He cuddles closer. This is... a little bit strange. Am I enjoying this? I shake my head. It's probably just me being tired. I turn off the T.V. and hold X in my arms. He's so small and fragile... I have to protect him from everything. That's fine by me. I stand up, carrying X to our room. I carefully walk there, not wanting to trip. When I got to our bedroom, I gently put X on his bed. I tuck him in.
Then I do something I never thought I'd do.
I give him a little kiss on the forehead.
Then I climb into my own bed and fall asleep.
X's P.O.V:
Four's holding me close, stroking one of my ends. I'm holding his hand, our fingers intertwined with each other's. "I love you, X." He says with a charming look on his face. "I love you, too, Treasure." I smile, kissing him on the cheek.
I wake up.
Oh god.
I'm tucked into my bed, not in Four's arms. Not being kissed and loved by him. Not being cradled and held close. I sniffle a little bit, but I won't let myself cry. I'm not that weak. I sit up in my bed, gazing across the room at the blue number laying in bed. He's still fast asleep, so I decide to surprise him with something. I
tip-toe to the kitchen, getting out a frying pan. I take a few eggs from the fridge, being careful not to drop them. I slowly crack each of them on the pan and let the yolk drip into it. A few minutes after preparing everything correctly, I have scrambled eggs in my pan. I scrape them onto a plate and set out utensils. I bring it all to the table and pour orange juice into a cup. I set that down, too. I walk over to Four's bed. I hesitantly lay next to him. I tap his shoulder.
"Wake up, sleepyhead." I whisper.
Four's P.O.V:
I feel something brush my shoulder. My eyes flutter open a little. I see... yellow? No, it can't be... my eyes widen. "X?!" I yell. He's... he's... in my bed?! My face flushes a dark crimson. I'm panicking so much that I fall off my bed.
X gasps and runs over to me. I get up hastily. "I... uh... made you breakfast..." X looks at his feet. I look at him, surprised. "Already?" "W-well, I wanted to surprise you..." He squeaks. "Wow, thanks." I smile.
X's P.O.V:
Why did I lay next to him? That was a horrible idea... but I couldn't really resist. I pull out Four's chair, gesturing for him to sit. He obeys, eating right away. I sit on the opposite end of the table, taking small bites of my eggs every now and then. "X, how did you know my favourite eggs were scrambled eggs?" Four asks through mouthfuls. "I remember when we moved in here, we went to get food at a breakfast buffet... out of all the eggs that were there, you took a plateful of scrambled." I mumble. "Woah, you have great memory and
great food..." Four compliments. My face goes a little orange, on the verge of a full-out red blush. "Thanks, Four..." I look out the window near us. "Oh! Look!" I gasp, pointing out the window. Four's head sharply turns towards it. "Snow!!" I squeal. Four thinks for a moment.
"You know what, X? I have a surprise for you, too."
