X's P.O.V:
There are two Fours.
Is this a power he never told me about? A family member? A nasty prank??
My heart is beating so hard I feel like it will leap right out of my chest. I'm averting my eyes between the two Fours, trying to tell them apart.
Suddenly, one speaks up.
"X, it's me. Please don't listen to him, I don't want him to take you away. I want to stay with you. X, I lo-" The Four is cut off as the other pounces on him, tackling him into the cold earth. He violently shoves his face into the snow, not letting him go free. The one below struggles and flails around, while the other is silent, holding him down without any words to say. I'm confused, staring at the two in shock. I slowly back away.
Then, something unexpected happens.
The Four held down springs up with a burst of energy seemingly coming from nowhere, sending the Four on top flying. The triumphant Four sprints towards me at top speed. I'm not sure which one this even is anymore, I lost track of which was which. He quickly turns his head to check if the other Four is still dazed, then snatches me up. I yelp, not because of the surprise, but because he picked me up roughly, apparently not caring about how painful it was to me. I then realized that this was not Four. I saw his hands slowly shifting to purple as he ran with me, hopping the fence to get out of our backyard. "Where are you taking me?!" I screamed, feeling a sting in my eye as a tear appeared. I haven't cried in so long that it hurt to finally let it out. The minuscule tear rolled down my cheek.
It burned.
"Someplace where I can have you! You can be my lucky number, doesn't that sound great? You'll always be with me!"
His hands were turning red now, the colour traveling up his arm and onto his upper torso area where he kept his... uh... how do I say this... muscles?
Not the time for that, X. I quickly reminded myself. "What are you thinking about now, Princess?" Fo- The imposter asked. I jumped, noticing the blush that had crept onto my face when I was distracted by my thoughts. "N-nothing!!" I stuttered. "Aww, you like me, don't you?" He cooed menacingly, "Well that's just fine, because you're going to be with me for a long time." The imposter's body shape was changing, too. The three bumps atop his head were disappearing, forming instead on his side. The red was spreading everywhere, and his smile changed from the one I always knew to a stranger's.
"What's wrong, X?"
Three questioned innocently.
"I know you love me."
