Some ranting, some advice, some archaic reference, and a lot of cussing. My take on how I think fanfiction should be written and some of the biggest problems with it right now. Because I may not be the best at writing, but...
I am not trying to step on your aesthetic here. I get it, a'ight? You want to set the scene, you put all this hard work into all this stuff and it's what all the cool kids are doing.
But by FUCKING GOD, it is more annoying than having a cucumber shoved up my ass, to see a fanfiction that has six parts and think to myself "oh boi, lots of chapters, the writer has clearly written a lot and plans to write more because of that dedication" and I open the fic and
Look, if you wanna put all that stuff before your story, I get it. It's all cool stuff that I don't mind reading/looking at before I start the actual story to get me in the mood.

Like, brUH. Just- just fucking use labels and shit. I don't need an entire fucking chapter of your fanfiction dedicated to a ten-word quote that after reading the fic I STILL DON'T UNDERSTAND THE FUCKING RELEVANCY OF WHAT THE FCKING FUCK KAREN
Can we pls just make it the norm to like, start with Chapter One? Maybe an Author's Note or a Fancy Ass Foreword with all that stuff, but I'm constantly being let down and you're all wasting code space and I hope you're ashamed.
