I have seen her before. Those green eyes. I have definitely seen her before.

I slightly feel like I am falling as I stare over the table at Robbie. The sun's heat rages upon us, spitting a hard beam of sunlight on my face. I can feel my forehead damp with sweat when my vision blurs again.

"You okay, man?" Robbie came and stood next to me, a box of beer that we got drunk on last night in his hands. I shook my head and hated doing that a second later, when a jolt of pain arose in some area inside my head-somewhere I couldn't pin point. I winced.

"Hangover? You should take some Advil." He clapped my right shoulder and cautiously, I nod-slowly and bent down lifting another box of empty beer bottles, ignoring the pain welling up in my brain like sinus. Breathing in, I close my eyes for a minute and focused on remembering her green eyes that I had tried watering down last night, trying to get rid of her thought and those- those eyes.

I put the beer box near the trash and took another breath when I felt the same feeling I felt that night. I thought I finally got a hold of her but she ran off and bloody Samuel had to be there. I was a move away from finding out who she is. But she always runs away.

She ran away that day when I found her outside my bedroom window. Her eyes sea green, she had worn a mask and this would have been funny if she was another one of those obsessed girls who have a crush on me.

But she is not like them. Its creepy to have some masked mystery girl on your bedside window, watching you sleep. God, I don't know how she even got to know my address. I don't know anything about her. Not yet.

I know one thing and that is that she is in our college and her partner maybe (in whatever the plan is, centered around me) is also in this college. I saw them in black ninja costumes and masks when we found out where Samuel is. They sort of helped us getting him suspended.

If only I knew what she is after....

A hand moves in front of my face. "Sorry. I zoned out." I told Robbie who sighed.

"You zone out a lot these days."

"Let's go." I said trying to change the topic. I always feel like telling Robbie about the green eyed girl who has been spying on me for a couple of weeks but I always feel like its none of his business. Also, I don't want to be like Issac who keeps showing off about how many girls he has slept with or how popular he is among girls.

I lift my college bag pack and the keys to my car, slightly grimacing at the dent some car had caused at the beginning of this session. Fuckers. "Don't forget the Advil." Robbie chirped.

"Can't forget. Its killing me." I said, lifting a pack of Advil and he nodded, his eyes glistening with amusement.

"Yeah, because you look like a zombie." He bit his tongue and I gave him a deadpanned look.

"Don't tempt me. I'll eat your brain." I said and he shook his head. I think I heard him say, 'What's new'. I punch him in the stomach and he roars.

...

When I get to the uni, Markian is already behind the counter uncovering the voting machine from its paper lid. The officers round us up and would be around for more than two days, not leaving before the elections for the student union are over.

"Hey, buddy. So long." He said and I tried to smile. My headache was better but its traces were still left behind in scattered corners of my brain. Markian almost never attends the college but came today for Robbie. The last time I saw him was during the admissions this year.

"Hey. You should come often."

"Not a big fan of getting up from my sleep." He scratched his neck and I laughed.

"Then you should drink less."

"Says the guy who is currently on a hangover." Robbie quotes and I laugh again.

The room where we put these machines was identical to my own store room. Along the rail of the tables, boxes and machines lay abandoned and untouched. Finally, the election is tomorrow and this would be over. The door of the room was a crack open which showed nothing but a figure; a pink parade walking somewhere. I smile as I watch Martha talking animatedly to her friend, her hands moving everywhere as she narrates whatever she is talking about. A lump rises when she catches sight of me and both of us freeze.

I don't know about her excuse but mine is simple to me. My heart thuds against my ribs as I watch her wave a hand at me. I don't wave back and she frowns, her eyes widening a little. Those green eyes spying me for so long look at me for a minute and then look everywhere else but me.

"No way." I breathe softly, instantly breathless. I keep staring at her and she walks away. "I have to get to her."

...

I knew it wasn't really up to me because whatever Robbie ever wanted, he got. A rumor was out that the election machines were tampered with when Robbie got them in.

The problem was nobody was to believe after Samuel's detention. Freshers looked at us like we were the caged lions waiting for them to throw the meat in and when they did, we'll eat them up; the people.

"That girl for who you had helped in admission process ...she was with someone who was talking about the same thing. I wonder if they think what others think." Markian had said and I watched Robbie's excited expressions to change into nervous expressions.

"You mean, Martha?" The green eyed girl-?

"I don't know her name. The one who asked for a chocolate and you gave her mine."

I wanted to laugh but I felt too nervous for Robbie to even smile. It is his dream to win that election. I simply nodded. "I'll talk to her."

Robbie insisted on talking to the children at the university but the work was loaded and we couldn't get time before seven in the evening. I decided to give a call to Martha. The bell rung two times and she didn't answer, my heart beat accelerating with every beep. I have to know if she is the girl who I saw that night and every other night outside my window. She didn't answer and it went straight to voicemail.

I press 'call again' and this time she picks up instantly.
