"Actually, Hezel my Filipino friend, sent a lot of Filipino words and their translation to me."
"Yeah. Hezel is a doctor too?" Thirdy asked.
"Yea. We will be graduating on January together"
"Oh I see. Congratulations"
"Thank you. Oh look we are now on the central park. Do you want to go down muna?"
"I went there na twice. I just want my cookies" Thirdy honestly said.
"Oh okay. Sorry, spoiled brat, we are going to get you cookies!"
Bea and Thirdy parked their car almost one street away. Bea said that parkings in new york are weird because malalayo so they have to walk.
"What's the bakeshop's name?" Thirdy asked holding his phone maybe searching for reviews.
"Insomnia Cookies. Actually they have delivery but we going on hopping so yep."
pagpasok ni Thirdy and Bea sa loob, she is the one to order. Thirdy is just waiting in a table. There are just a few people kasi sabi ni Bea this is much more appreciated at night.
When she is already ordering she shouted "Chef" and agad namang tumingin si Thirdy lalapit sana ito kay Bea when she motioned na stay there because baka mawala table nila. She mouthed "You want ice cream? because I want one"
Thirdy chuckled "Share" he answered Sumimamgot si Bea at kinausap na agad yung cashier.
When Bea came back, She's holding two pint of ice cream and spoons.
"Where's my cookies?"
"You wait for it, patience, grasshopper"
"Too much Ice cream, we will be full"
"This is actually the best cookies so I kinda ordered a dozen already"
"WTF. Do you want me to be diabetic, Doc?"
"Hello!! Dont be selfish, I'm here"
Thirdy chuckled and started eating his ice cream. When the box of cookies came, Bea said thank you and they went to the next bakeshop.
"So we aren't going to eat it right away?"
"We will eat in Central Park."
They reached William Greenberg Dessert. Thirdy stood next to Bea this time while ordering, baka kasi bilin nanaman ni Bea ang lahat ng cookies na available.
"Just get the best cookies. Dont buy it all" Bulong ni Thirdy and Bea just chuckled. A few minutes they are alredy on their way to the next bakeshop, Ben's cookies. Nasa labas palang, you can see Thirdy's eyes twinkle.
"You tasted this already?" she asked because they will change the bakeshop if Thirdy tasted it.
"Yep. My mom buys me a lot when we stayed here for a vacation"
"Should we go to the next?" Bea asked
"No. Let's buy. I will order go sit"
Bea just followed and after a few minutes he saw Thirdy with a box of cookies and one at hand.
"What happens to just get their best cookies"
Bea said laughing after seing him.
"I'll eat this one. Just stay put" Thirdy showed her the cookies he has in his hand.
When Thirdy bite the cookie, he closed his eyes and smiled "Damn, this is so good." Nilapit naman ni Thirdy yung cookies sa mukha ni Bea para tikman ito.
