WEDDING DAY
Tagaytay
2019

The garden was transformed for their wedding. White flowers and greenery surrounded the aisle, with petals scattered along the path leading to the altar. Everything looked soft, intimate, and romantic, exactly how they wanted it.

As she walks down the aisle, Down the Aisle by Issa Rodriguez plays, making everyone emotional, not only because of the song, but because she's beautiful wearing that white gown.

No one could ever picture her wearing this. She'll always be that girl who vanishes when she falls, but a miracle happened today. She decided to stay, this time for good, in his arms, in Thirdy's arms.

She's seeing a lot of familiar faces. The Grid's kitchen staff, Chef Iya and Chef Irene from The Pearl, all of their helpers, drivers, and relatives. Thirdy's family is there with the newest chikiting, Alyzeel, Kiefly's daughter.

She smiled at them genuinely.

When she reached the point where Elmer and Det walked with her, she hugged them. Her mom is really emotional.

"OA ng mom mo," Elmer whispered, which made Bea chuckle.

Thirdy is waiting for her. Tears are flowing from his eyes while Kiefer keeps on whispering to him,

"Wag masyado umiyak. Panget ka sa video, sige ka."

When the De Leons reached the altar, Bea smiled widely at him. They gave Det and Elmer hugs and cheek kisses before facing Father Jet.

As they stood beside each other, they both sighed in relief, happiness, and love.

"Ready?" she whispered.

"Always ready for you," he answered.

And the wedding sacrament continued.

When Father Jet asked for their vows, Thirdy went first.

"Finally, Angel!" he started, which made everyone smile.

Durugin mo, wasakin mo, kahit ano pang gawin mo. Sayo lang yan at walang makakaagaw niyan sayo."

Everyone's wiping their tears. Bea's already emotional too.

"Hi," she greeted him, trying to calm down her nerves.

"A lot of people call me 'Ghost' because I always vanish. It has been a part of my life that is really unlovable, but when you came, you made me realize that the beauty of this habit is that you'll know he's the one when he searches for you and loves you even after you leave.

"Ferdinand, you are more than that. You searched for me, loved me, and embraced me as if I didn't hurt and leave you. You made me learn Tagalog even if it took me a lot of months. You taught me how to cook real food. I was afraid back then that I would be preparing pudding for my kids because that's all I knew how to make.

"Mom will always get mad because I am always being indecisive, but one thing's for sure, you are the most certain decision I have made. Marrying you, my love, will be the easiest decision I have ever made.

"I have always doubted the idea of love, but right now, all I do is hope that we will conquer the battlefield of life together. I am always afraid to love, to fall, to give it all, but right now, I can't even think of how I would live without doing those things to you and for you.

"I promise to stay even if it's hard. I promise to hug you when you're hurt. I promise to embrace your flaws. I promise to choose you over and over again. I promise to make you smile when you're grumpy. I promise to be your cure. I promise to be the woman that you need.

"I will love you more than I love crabs. Please know that wherever you are, that'll be my home. Can't wait to have grandkids, gray hair, and sit in wheelchairs while holding hands with you."

And this time, everyone's crying. Det and Mozzy have the loudest cries. They couldn't hide their emotions.

As the ceremony ends, the most awaited part of the wedding comes.

"You may now kiss your beautiful bride."

You can hear Kristine, Jaime, Anton, and Jolo's teasing from the altar, making everyone laugh.

"THIS IS IT, CHEF!"

"THAT'S MY BOI!"

"GO, THIRDYBOI!"

"HINDI NA TORPE TROPA KO!"

Thirdy laughed before looking back at his wife. Bea was already smiling at him, and without wasting another second, he pulled her closer and finally kissed his bride.

The cheers became louder as their friends celebrated from behind them. Bea smiled against his lips while Thirdy held her close, both of them surrounded by the people who had witnessed their story from the beginning.

After the ceremony, everyone moved to the reception. Long tables were beautifully arranged beneath hanging lights and glass ornaments, surrounded by greenery that matched the intimate garden setting of the wedding. Candles glowed along the tables, making everything feel warm and romantic as the celebration began.

The party is starting, and everyone is loving their food. The music is romantic, making everyone feel the love.

Zel hugged her best friend before she made her way to give a speech for the couple.

"Hi! I'm Zel. Bea's best friend and maybe her only friend."

The whole crowd laughed with her.

"I've seen Bea cry, broken, and ugly. Hindi lang napapakita, but she has ugly parts of her that are really unlovable. And you know what? She shows it to people so it will be easier for her to go away from them. But Thirdy is different. He stays. He searches for her. He is indeed her Ghostbuster.

"I hope and I pray that you will continue to love and cherish each other. I love you both, and may God bless you."

She hugged the couple again before going back to her table.

It's Dani's time to speak. She made pacute sa videographers, making all the guests laugh and adore her more.

"Hello, lovebirds!" she greeted them.

"With all honesty, hindi ko alam na Kuya will be married."

This line earned laughter.

"Kahit sila Mama, akala mauunahan ko pa si Kuya magpakasal. But I'm super glad it is you, Ate Bei. I love you as much as I love Kuya. Please give me pamangkins ASAP. Alyzeel is growing up already. She needs kalaro, you know. Ah basta. I'll always be your baby sis. Always! Welcome to the family, Ate Bea."

And she hugged them.

When the speeches were done, the dance floor was opened. Their friends, families, and workmates danced their hearts out. Everyone in their lives is celebrating the special day of Bea and Thirdy.

"I love you, wife. Not pregnant yet??" he whispered while they're slow dancing. Fading Away by Scarypoolparty is playing in the background.

Bea smiled at him.

"I love you, husband," she answered and closed her eyes to feel the music and the dance.
