When Thirdy arrived at the De Leon's, he saw Det and Elmer drinking coffee.
"Morning, Mom and Dad" sabay beso at mano sakanila.
"Tulog pa fiancée mo" Det said ,
"Iwan ko nalang po 'to for her breakfast. Kailangan ko pong pumuntang The Grid eh. May catering po kasi yung other staff and ako lang po nasa Restaurant" paalam ni Thirdy.
After leaving them, pumunta siya sa kwarto ni Bea to give her a note.

After writing the note, iniwan niya ito sa bedside table ni Bea at lumapit siya to kiss her forehead. Pagglabas niya ng kwarto ni Bea, he saw Loel
"Dito ka din natulog?" He asked
"Yep. Tinamad na kong umuwi." Loel told him
Thirdy just nodded and dumiretso na sa baba,
"What date gusto mo for engagement party?" Loel shouted since naalala niya bago pa makalabas ng bahay ng mga De Leon si Thirdy
he shouted back "ask your sister. She'll fly to NY soon"
He sighed heavily pagsakay ng kotse. "She'll choose you soon" bulong niya ulit sa sarili.
Actually Thirdy is not feeling well. Siguro dahil puyat siya because of the driving and the sudden change of the temperature pero he didn't mind. The Grid needs him today.
Pagbaba niya ng sasakyan, biglang bumuhos ang malakas na ulan agad siyang tumakbo papasok ng restaurant.
"Sir, sana tumawag kayo para sinundo ko kayo ng payong sa parking" gulat na sabi ni Tine.
"Okay lang tine! May extra clothes naman ako dito. Thank you." at agad na siyang dumiretso sa locker room ng mga staff to get his clothes.
After niyang magpalit nararamdaman niya lalo ang sama ng pakiramdam. He called one of his staff "Jaime, pasabi naman kay Tine baka may staff na papunta palang. Pasabay kamo ng bili ng paracetamol. Mukang lalagnatin ako eh"
"Yes Chef! " at agad na lumabas si Jaime ng kitchen.
The day started okay. Hindi naman msyadong puno ang The Grid because of the bad weather.
Everything is doing fine except Thirdy. He's feeling na tataas na yung lagnat niya any minute. When lunch time came, kung ano man ang konti ng customers ng umaga, bawing bawi ng oras na 'to. Everyone's so busy.

Bea woke up with a headache. "Damn, oversleeping is not a good idea" She stood up para bumababa but there's a paper that caught her attention. It is the note that Thirdy left. She smiled reading it atyaka siya bumababa. She saw Manang in the dining area, "Anak, teka iinit ko yung breakfast na dala ni Chef!" dali dali namang pumuntang kitchen si Manang. Bea sat at one of the chairs in their long table to wait for her food.
"Ngayon ka lang nagising? That's new ah" Det commented when she saw her daughter.
"Maaaaa!" sigaw ni Bea sabay tayo at yumakap sa Ina.
"Patingin nga ng singsing" Det teases
Bea places her hand in front of her face and smile widely.
"Are you happy?" Her mother asked
"Ma, happiness isn't not enough to describe how I feel"
"I'm so glad it's Chef"
