"Dad, you know I don't like relationships, right?"

"Time for a change, anak!" Elmer seriously said.

"He's not answering his phone. Maybe he's now thinking about the complicated life of dating a doctor," malungkot na sabi ni Bea.

"Or maybe he fell asleep because he's too tired."

"Oh shoot," nagulat na sabi ni Bea. Napatigil din si Elmer.

"Anak, what is it?"

"Nothing, Dad. Can you drop me off at his apartment? Zel told me earlier that he's drenched because of the rain. Maybe he fell asleep because he's sick." She's overthinking now.

"It's late but okay. Check him out. Please, no grandkids yet," Elmer reminded her.

"Dad, he didn't even confess yet."

"Angel, if running in the rain so you can have a good lunch is not a confession for you, I don't know na lang talaga."

After a few minutes, they are already in front of his apartment.

"Good luck. Don't ghost him, anak." Bea just nodded.

"And there are three rooms there. Sleep in the other room."

Bea chuckled.

"Take care, Dad."

She rings the doorbell pero walang sumagot. She checked her watch. It's already 9:30pm.

"He should be done with his workout by this time," she thought.

She rings the doorbell this time madaming beses and someone inside shouted, "Wait."

When the door opens, she saw Thirdy. Red nose and freezing.

"What are you doing..." She feels his forehead na kinagulat ni Thirdy kaya di nito natapos sasabihin niya.

"Go to your room. You have a fever."

Thirdy is shocked and tiningnan lang siya. Bea went straight to the kitchen and looked for something she could cook.

Thirdy sat on the stool near the island table.

"Hey, I said go to your room. You fell asleep after coming from the hospital?" Bea is super serious.

"Why so mad?"

Bea stopped looking for the things she needed to cook and looked at him.

"You're sick because of me and I hate it." She went back to looking for all the things she needed.

"What do you need?" Thirdy asked.

"I need you to rest."

Thirdy chuckled.

"We can just ask for someone to deliver us food."

Bea's eyes twinkled at the idea and she got her phone, which made Thirdy laugh a little louder this time.

Instead of resting sa room niya, Thirdy wore a jacket and socks, got his pillows, and stayed sa sofa and opened his TV for Chef's Table.

Bea is still on her phone and nung narinig niya na nagopen yung TV, sinamaan niya ng tingin si Thirdy. The guy just showed her a peace sign. Napailing na lang si Bea.

She ordered soup from Cafe York because they're the only ones open and have soup on the menu and also ordered rice meals from Halal Grillo.

After the phone call, she saw Thirdy still watching Chef's Table.
