Thirdy and Bea are now driving to Sagada.
"How's your interview, sweetcheeks?"
"Okay naman. Rhi's father is really funny pala."
"Yeah. Kaya nga hindi nahirapan si Jolo iclose yung mga yon."
"Ikaw din naman ah." Bea rolled her eyes.
"Oo, binibigay ka na nga sakin ni Mommy and Dad eh."
"Yeah, I heard nga. Mom is also pushing me na. She wants apo eh si Kuya nga hindi nila hinahanapan ng girlfriend. Haaays," reklamo ni Bei.
Thirdy chuckled.
8 hours ang byahe papuntang Sagada. They went for a stopover sa NLEX to eat and buy some toiletries.
"Jollibee ah," Bea said bago bumaba ng sasakyan.
"My God. Typical Filipino ah," Thirdy said na natatawa.
"But let's buy burgers and burritos sa Army Navy just in case."
"Yes, takaw."
And he held her hand papuntang Jollibee.
Bea ordered two-piece Chickenjoy and Palabok, while Thirdy bought Spicy Chickenjoy with Burger Steak and Spaghetti.
While waiting for their order, Bea remembered Nike.
"Love, is Nike okay kela Mom?"
"Bei, you saw Nike when we went there to give Mommy Det the cookies. Sepanx ba?"
"I feel like tampo na siya sakin because I'm always away."
"No. Nike loves you. Kapag nagring phone ko tapos naiwan ko sa kwarto, kukulitin niya ko kahit nasan ako."
"Can I bring Nike sa NY?" pacute na sabi ni Bea.
"NO," seryosong sagot ni Thirdy.
"Sungit. Trying my charms lang eh," Bea said at biglang dumating order nila.
They are eating at nagmomotion na si Bei na di niya maubos yung chicken niya.
"Takaw tingin kasi," Thirdy said na natatawa.
He finished Bea's leftover, and then they went to Army Navy and bought two burgers and a burrito. After that, they went to buy water and other things they needed.
Bea also bought an iced coffee. Ayaw niya kasing makatulog while Thirdy is driving. When they went back sa car, Bea fixed all the things they bought sa likod para madaling makuha.
"Can I play hype songs? I need to stay awake eh," Thirdy asked, trying his charms.
"Yeah, but my hype songs."
"Make sure it will wake me up ah. Baka makatulog ako."
They both chuckled.
But the coffee didn't work. Bea fell asleep after a few playlists.
The sun is already shining nung nagising si Bea. Her chair was moved para maging comfortable siya. She looked at her man and asked,
"Why didn't you wake me up?"
"You look like an angel eh. Okay na din na may katabing angel while driving."
When Bea looked outside the window, she saw the mountains and trees.
"Wow. Can we open our windows and enjoy the fresh air na lang?"
Bea didn't wait for Thirdy's answer and binuksan niya na yung windows. Inabot niya yung burger na binili nila and ate it. Sinusubuan niya si Thirdy while driving.
