Maldives
2019
Day 1
A honeymoon trip was the De Leons' gift for the newlyweds.
Bea and Thirdy are lying on the wooden floor outside their villa.
"Let's go outside the hotel room naman. Aren't you tired of swimming?" reklamo ni Thirdy.
Bea didn't want to go out of the hotel room. She says that resting, cuddling, and enjoying the ocean sound much better than any activities.
"What do you want to do ba?"
"I wanna eat at Sala Thai Restaurant."
"Okay, we'll eat there tomorrow."
Thirdy looked at her. Bea didn't argue today.
"Wow, hindi ka kokontra?"
"Nah. I know you wanted to try a lot of food. I'm just being a good wife," she teased him.
"Okay, keep it up, Mrs. Ravena."
And they both chuckled.
Thirdy stood up. She looked at him curiously.
"San ka punta?"
"Cooking breakfast."
"We have no ingredients."
"Let's go and buy."
"We can order food naman. Let's call na lang."
Bea stood up at niyakap si Thirdy, trying to lock him in her arms.
"Clingy mo. May period ka na?"
"Wala pa." She smiled and played with her brows.
"Huh? Wala pa?" Thirdy said happily.
He carried her papunta sa room, making Bea chuckle. He tickled her.
"Hahahaha, stop! I'm tired, love! Hahahaha."
She can't say sentences properly.
Thirdy's tired too. Hinawi niya yung buhok ni Bea and said, "I love you, and I always will."
Bea kissed him, and the kiss went deeper and deeper. Thirdy moved to her neck, giving Bea a different kind of tickle. He removed her cover-up and admired how amazing she looked in her bikini.
"How did I get so lucky?" he whispered while holding her close.
They were getting lost in the moment when a phone rang.
"Sayo yon?" she asked.
"No," Thirdy answered.
"Oh, maybe mine."
They broke their position, and Bea got her phone.
"Who's that?" he asked.
"Zel. Baka chichika lang."
"Let's continue."
She put down her phone after putting it on silent.
"No. I'm hungry na."
He left her on the bed laughing.
"I hate you," she said with an annoyed face.
"Oh, I love you too, wife."
He's chuckling as he called the restaurant of the resort.

Day 2
The two are walking along the seashore when Bea asked,
"Do you really want na magkakids?"
"Of course," he answered right away.
There's silence, and Thirdy suddenly had a strange thought.
"Wait, ayaw mo ba?"
"Ah, no naman. I just don't feel like sharing you just yet."
He blushed. "But you know that we did it a lot of times na, so you can be pregnant anytime soon."
"Yeah, but I don't feel like I am pregnant eh."
"Okay, edi let's do it again later." He smirked, and she looked at him, cringing.
She stopped walking while Thirdy laughed because of her facial expression.
"Kunwari pa, gustong-gusto naman."
"Excuse you?!"
They ran like kids, happily playing, and when Thirdy caught her, he hugged her so tight. Bea's legs clung to his hips, and Thirdy carried her like that all the way to their villa.
Day 3
Sala Thai Restaurant
Thirdy is the one who ordered the food. Bea's calling Zel kasi she left a lot of missed calls.
"Told you, baka it is important."
"Shhh. I'm worried already," Bea admitted.
Thirdy looked at her. She really is worried.
He stood up and sat beside her instead of sitting across from her. He gave her a side hug.
"She's fine, love!"
"Sana."
Bea calmed down and rested her head sa shoulder ni Thirdy.
When the food came, Thirdy was so excited to eat when her phone finally rang.
"I'll answer na ah," paalam niya, and Thirdy just nodded.
"Hello, where the hell are you?"
"Why?"
"Where?"
"When?"
"Pauwi na kami tomorrow. I'll book a flight right away."
"Okay. Check your food, water, and everything, okay?"
"No problem, Zel."
Thirdy stopped eating and looked at her.
"What happened?"
"Human Monkeypox Virus outbreak in West Africa."
"You going?" he asked coldly, although alam naman na niya yung sagot.
"Okay lang ba? I mean, we'll go home naman na after this day, diba?"
He didn't answer and continued eating.
"Hey. Please. They need me."
"Let's just enjoy the food muna. We'll talk about it when we're back at the hotel."
And she followed what her husband said.
While driving back to the hotel, he broke the silence.
"Nakakahawa ba yon?" he asked.
"Huh?"
"The virus?"
"Uh, oo. As of now, they're still studying pano kumalat yung virus, so pwedeng may nakain silang animals na infected. Nakakahawa if there is close physical contact or if nagamit mo yung contaminated materials."
"So anong kakainin niyo if hindi safe yung food?"
"Fruits, maybe."
"So papayat ka na naman?"
"You don't want me to come?"
"What if I'll say na yep, I don't want you to come kasi natatakot ako for you?"
"I'll still come. They need me."
"See? Wala naman akong say about it."
"Sorry."
He didn't talk the whole night.
A cold war, maybe...
