This is it. My day to shine. The spotlight is all on me. Yet it isn't. About 25 other people probably have the same thoughts running through their heads.
I am Callie and I am sixteen years old. I moved to the United Kingdom when I was ten from Australia. Now I am waiting for my turn to sing in front of people who have created their lives and careers, who could pave mine for me. In simpler words I am about to audition for the X Factora exclusively in the UK. Crazy, right? I know, it still gives me shivers when I think about what I am going to do. I hear the staff telling me to get up there and show them that I have what it takes, but all I can think about is not showing them how fabulously I can vomit. As I walk up to the stage with my microphone in hand I somehow know this is my destiny.
