Louis' POV
At 7:00 I knock on Callie's door, arms full with a bouquet and chocolates. There is no answer. I knock a second time and this time I hear the lock turn and the door swings open. Callie is standing in the doorway...in sweats and a tank top with her hair pulled back into a ponytail.
"You're going like this?" I ask taken aback.
"Oh, I'm not going anywhere. Come in," she says. She takes the flowers and candy and disappears into the kitchen for a second. Then she reappears.
"What do you mean?" I ask, startled.
"That's what I mean," she says completely calm.
"Oh, no, you don't. I don't think you know what you mean," I reply scooping her up into my arms and out the door carrying her bridal style. "We're going, whether you're dressed up or not."
She pounds on my back as I gently deposit her onto my leather Aston Martin seat.
"Wait," she says. "I changed my mind. Let me get dressed up. I didn't think you were willing to go this far."
"Well, you underestimated me," I tell her. "Go on now. Get dressed. I'll wait here."
"No, come in with me," she says calmly.
We head in and I wait in her living room, looking at pictures as I wait for her.

Callie's POV
Gosh, I didn't think he was that serious. In fact I wasn't even thinking when I made my decision.
I quickly change into a sunflower print sleeveless dress that goes down to mid-thigh and black lace-up peep toe heels. I put my hair into a messy bun and apply some makeup hurriedly. I close my door just in case Evelyn's sleeping and I hear a sound behind me. I pivot around nervous of who's behind me. Isn't Evelyn sleeping? As I see who it is a breath I didn't even realize I was holding lets itself out. It's indeed Evelyn.
"That...looks...great," she says sounding surprised.
"Why are you so surprised?" I ask her.
"I just haven't seen you dress up, much less for a date, since --," she responds but is cut off by me.
"Please don't even utter his name in this household. He's nothing to me anymore. I realized today that all these years after I broke up with him he was still the one holding me back from true happiness," I confess.
"And who, may I ask, is so lucky to be that true happiness of yours?" she asks smirking.
"I gotta go," I say avoiding the question.
"Yeah, sure, don't answer the important question of all asked by your best friend of all," she yells running down the stairs after me.
"Come on, Louis, let's go," I say, coming to a halt in the living room. I see him looking at a picture of that person and me.
"This picture is very nice," he tells me.
"Oh, it's nothing," I say, coming over to grab it out of his hands and dump it in the trash.
"If you say so," he gives in. "Wow, you look absolutely amazing," he gasps, actually looking at my outfit and taking it in.
We head to the door and Evelyn taps me on the shoulder as I am about to head out.
"Here, you forgot this," she hands me my Tory Burch clutch and a mischievous smile comes upon her. "Don't forget to have a good time."
Louis opens the passenger door for me grasping my hand and helping me in. Once he gets the car running I look to see what she packed me. My eyes run over my phone, some lip gloss, other makeup, a compact mirror, mint-flavored gum...and a handful of condoms. I blush in embarrassment hoping Louis doesn't see. Unfortunately he sees my face and follows me eyes. Before I can snap the clutch shut he's already seen the shameful source of my red cheeks.
He chuckles and averts his attention back to the road.
"Evelyn, you are so dead," I mutter.
"Excuse me?" he asks, thankfully not hearing what I just said.
"Oh, I was just saying that I didn't put those in there. Evelyn did and I can't believe her. Can you? The nerve of that girl. And then she wants favors from me? Forget it. Sorry about this again. I totally did not even have that in mind. What do they say? No sex on the first date? Oh, sorry if that made you uncomf--" I start rambling.
Luckily Louis cuts me off but unluckily he decides for some odd reason to pull over.
"You're so cute when you're nervous. I can tell when you are because you just start rambling on and on. Who makes you nervous? Me? I'm not dangerous. No need to be worried." He brushes a loose piece of my hair aside and leans in.
I try to be composed and make what I hope looks like a calm face.
"Don't make that face unless you want me to take you right here, right now. As it is, you're tempting and with that face you make the temptation almost impossible to resist. If you continue with that expression we might have to use those after all," he whispers gesturing to my clutch and the condoms. He backs away from me and brushes himself off. After a few seconds we're back on the road again.
"So, where are we going?" I ask.
"You'll see when we get there," he says, not taking his eyes off the road. It's then that I look at the rear view mirror and see that his eyes are trained on something else. Not the road, but me.
