I wake the next day sitting up drowsily. No one's around me so I decide to go upstairs to find Louis. Somehow knowing the directions to his room I find it quickly cracking door open. Careful not to wake him I tiptoe over to his bed and crawl next to him nibbling at his ear.
"Rise and shine," I whisper into his ear playfully tickling his abs. Before I know he takes hold of my body and pulls me onto him laughing.
"How are you feeling?" we ask each other at the same time. We look at each other and then break into uncontrollable laughter.
"Do you want to help me cook breakfast?" I ask him calmly still lying with my stomach on his.
"Sure," he says sitting up and taking me with him. He lets go of me long enough to throw on a tank top and shorts. Then out of nowhere he scoops me up carrying me down the stairs bridal style and setting me down on the kitchen counter kissing me softly but full of passion. He helps me down and I set my iPad onto its stand on the counter searching for a recipe.
"How about a vegetable omelette?" I scan the page for more ideas.
"Nah, too generic. Anything else?"
"Hmm...crepes?" I stop scrolling at last. "Just we don't have all the ingredients."
"No problem. That actually sounds really good. We just have to stop by the store," he hugs me from behind.
I run up to my room to change out of my pajamas and immediately start having a struggle picking what to wear. I settle on a tribal print sweater, black Lululemon leggings, a magenta scarf, and knee-high riding boots. Taking the steps one by one I am greeted by the sight of a very casual Louis in a striped shirt and dark jeans. We link arms and head out.
Once in the car we are silent on our phones until we reach the grocery store. Louis rushes out and opens my door helping me out. In response I plant a big kiss on his cheek. We both head in with grins reaching our ears. The store experience is relatively uneventful. It is when we reach the cash register when everything starts. As I am boring my eyes into my phone and trying to avoid paparazzi I hear someone say "Callie", a hint of excitement in her tone. I look up at the cashier and nod my head, almost daring her to continue. All of a sudden understanding flows between us. My old enemy turned friend. The only one who had faith when no one did. The only one who would even talk to me during my dark days, during my depression, during my obesity. The one and only Violet.
"It's you," I gasp, voicing my thoughts aloud. It takes all the strength I have left to not scream.
"I saw your reunion with Evelyn on the X Factora," she sighs a hint of regret woven into her voice. I realize it's because although it was her who made me forget my fears I still chose someone else, something else over her and was never there for her when she needed it. That's when it all clicks. What have I done with my life? What have I become? What has my world become? There are no words to express the guilt I feel. Louis' arm slips around my waist comforting me. I know I can't change everything at this point but I can start changing my world and most importantly, me. I slide my hand over hers when she hands me the grocery bag.
"I wrote my address and phone number on that piece of paper. Visit me today. I need to talk to someone," I whisper so no one else can hear. Sure enough, I see her hand clutch the paper, winking at me. I remove Louis' hand from me walking away from everyone. I hear Louis' sneakers banging against the tile floor as he runs after me. Catching up to me we get in the car and drive silently all the way to our house. Louis senses I need space and lets me go when I run up to our room.
Thinking about the frenzied past six years I hold my head in my hands rocking back and forth on the bed. What happened to the old me? The girl who was a no one but yet who was someone to her friends, her true ones like Evelyn and Violet? Then I suddenly remember what Louis told me about our child. I run downstairs confused but yet my mind as clear as it's been in the past six years.
"Louis!" I gasp, out of breath. "Where's our child?" The words sound so right and so wrong at the same time as they slip out of my mouth.
He hesitates for a moment blinking as if he's lost before regaining his composure and remembering.
"He's at my mum's, remember?"
"Yes, I do, but can we pick him up?"
"Um, well--" he starts but I stop him before he can say anymore. Rage fills within me. Rage aimed at Louis.
"Louis, I remember everything! I've remembered this whole time! I remember why I tried to commit suicide, who I am, what my life is like! Can't you see? I was putting on this act just to see if I could trust you! I can't start to believe that you lied to me! What would you have done if I genuinely hadn't remembered?" I don't give him a chance. In fact I'm done giving everyone and everything chances. I storm upstairs and retrieve my suitcase, half-unpacked, from the closet. I shove everything in, not caring what goes where. The only thing on my mind is how to get out of this hellhole fast. I zip the suitcase up and drop it down the stairs quickly following. Louis starts to open his mouth but I flip him the bird, silencing him, as I throw the doors open, breathing in fresh air for what seems like the first time in six years. I break into a run for my house where I know Evelyn and Niall are waiting for me. I deactivate the security system and run into the living room throwing myself onto the couch. Evelyn and Niall run towards me with worried expressions. That's the last thing I see as my tears shut my eyes down, my whole body following.

Author's Note
Hey guys and gals,
Sorry not for posting for a long time. I just really needed to think things through. First announcement is that I am NOT deleting this fanfic. No matter what people say and how much my friends don't like this I am still writing. I realized that I am defiant and will be, this book surviving against all the haters. Second announcement is that an update almost every day is just too much for me. I will post my schedule later but for now I just don't know. I wish you all the best holidays and Happy New Year! Today's dedication goes to a very special person who just happens to be the male main character in this book. LOUIS TOMLINSON! His birthday is today and he is turning 23 today! HAPPY B-DAY! I don't know what the odds are of him reading this but I sincerely hope that he might!
Keep livin' on fabulously,
