I try ducking under Louis as soon as I see him but he shifts his body so I can't get past him.
"Ahem, would you mind moving your lazy arse?" I ask sarcastically wishing with all my might that my eyes aren't red and puffy like they usually are after a good cry.
"Sure," he says and moves out of the way for a split second before quickly resuming his previous position. "Oops, you didn't make it through. I see you're a slow one."
"Watch your mouth, Tomlinson, or else that 'pretty' face of yours might just suffer a blow. Don't you have a girlfriend you could be taunting instead?" I retort.
"Yeah but she refused to come on X Factora with me because of her studies. I was sent here to see how you were doing and judging by those comments of yours, you are perfectly healthy."
"Thanks, Doctor. When's my next checkup?" I say with a smug expression.
"Can't we just be friends instead of having to insult each other in every word? Truce?" he asks nicely holding out his hand.
"To tell you the truth it's getting a little tiring. So, yeah, truce. Let's start over?" I say with meaning.
"Of course and I'll clear the runway for you," he says, stepping aside.
"Thanks," I tell him simply.

Louis' POV
The way she smiles is absolutely tempting. I think I may be falling in love. Every time we speak nothing else in the world matters to me except Callie. The truth is I was not sent to check up on her. I actually excused myself from the table telling everyone I had some important business to attend to and actually was on my way to the basement in search for Callie when she popped up. In my defense Callie is very important business so I was not lying. At least, that's my justification. I slowly head to my bedroom, calling it a night.
