Catalina glared at her torn wall, in a pout, she seated herself down at the edge of her bed. "I mean, I've been thinking of replacing this wallpaper for a while now." Catalina told Roman. "And they didn't take anything, so it's not that bad."
Elena hesitantly entered the room with Rita by her side. Rita helped herself to assess the room, however Elena remained by the door. "Can I talk with you privately, Roman?" Elena asked. Catalina gently pushed Roman towards the door, this caused Roman to comply.
Elena took Roman out into the halls. "I'm sorry for the way I phrased things earlier." Elena confessed. "I know it's hard on you and I really wished I'd been more careful. I didn't want to upset you. Ever since the crash I've been thinking about what really matters and all..." Elena looked around, struggling for words. "I just don't want this to turn into a grudge and I don't want to lose you to something as stupid as that."
Roman scratched the back of his head. "Honestly? It's fine Elena." Roman laughed. "You didn't say anything wrong. It made me realise that I need to be more powerful."
Elena squinted at him. "...What do you mean by that?"
"None of us can get anything done without calling Sebastian." Roman explained. "What if we get mugged? Sebastian isn't gonna magically appear and save us, especially me. So, I'm gonna buy some guns."
There was a long pause until Elena spoke. "Are you high, Roman? Did you take something?"
Roman ignored Elena's remark. "One day I might be able to see to it that Sebastian feels the same humiliation I feel, but until then, I can only thank you for saying what needed to be said."
Elena stood idly, unable to think of something to say. Roman also stood idly, however he was confident, he was just waiting for Elena to say something back. As the two remained in the halls, they heard a loud booming voice coming from downstairs. "You what?!" Valentino hallowed. Rita and Catalina left her room and joined Elena and Roman.
"What do you think happened?" Rita asked Elena as she shrugged.
"You're not spending a single second with that devil-worshipper! I'm not having this, have you lost your mind!?" Valentino continued. The group of four went downstairs to investigate.
As they reached the kitchen, they found a giggling Stefano and an agitated Valentino. Valentino had his palm firmly placed on the table and his other hand had his new mobile by his ear. "There is no way in hell you're going on a boat ride with Charles Ravoux. Why a boat ride anyways? I could have sworn demons were unable to cross running water..." Valentino rambled.
"That's vampires, Val." Stefano corrected amidst his giggles.
"What's going on?" Catalina whispered to Stefano.
"Lorenzo was wondering if he should go with Casper on a boat ride with the infamous Charles Ravoux." Stefano tried to cover his laughter. "As you can see, the reception is great."
"Charles Ravoux?!" Elena screamed out in disgust. "I'm going to throw up!"
"I'll hold your hair." Rita remarked quietly.
"I hopes it clicks and you understand that this is a terrible idea because I know in my heart I didn't raise you to be so stupid." Valentino continued to rant to his phone.
"Woah, easy there." Elena put her hands up.
Valentino sighed, still refusing to acknowledge the crowd he'd created. "I understand. I'll talk to you another time. Bye." He hung up the phone and sighed. Valentino turned to Elena and Catalina. "Out of all of you, I thought Donatello would cause me the most trouble, but it seems I was wrong."
