Catalina was in the middle of a call with Spencer as she packed up her belongings. "I don't know where I'm going. I don't think I'm supposed to know."
"And here I was hoping we could spend time together." Spencer sighed. "I had a proposal."
"Why not propose it now? It'll give me something to think about while I'm away." Catalina suggested as she placed the final item in her bag. "It'll eat me alive if you don't tell me."
"Come do an internship with me." Spencer said causing Catalina to stop what she was doing. He then started to speak quickly. "I mean it's not much- you can do it after school. It wouldn't be much, maybe filing and answering calls. We'd see each other a lot."
Catalina interrupted his speed run of his pros list. "I am so under qualified-"
"That doesn't matter, it's just an internship." Spencer insisted. "Once you finish it, you'll be more than qualified enough for me to rehire you in a better position."
As Spencer tried his best to convince Catalina of his idea, Sebastian lurked into the room. Catalina looked up at him, without making a sound that Spencer could hear. Sebastian mouthed for her to hang up.
"I've got to go, I'll think about it." She stammered and hung up before he could give her a response.
"You shouldn't have told him you were leaving, we can't trust anybody." Sebastian crossed his arms as he leant on the doorframe.
"I'm sorry." She apologised. "Although he did look surprised when we saw Stefano tied up in the bathroom, so, I doubt we can't trust him."
Sebastian ignored the recollection. "Have you seen Luciana?"
Catalina paused and recounted her day. "No, I don't believe I have."
"Great, that's promising." Sebastian mumbled, about to leave.
"Did something happen?" Catalina wondered.
Sebastian bit his lip, initially going to made a snide remark. He responded to her question sensitively. "Yes, but don't worry, I'll find her."
Catalina didn't need to verbalise her response. She trusted Sebastian enough that a nod was all she needed to reply with. He nodded back at her and left the room, beginning his search for Luciana.
Sebastian returned to the room where Elena was and retrieved his bag. There, he began to express his worries. "I have a plan that requires me to leave, but I have no one to hold up the fort back here and protect you while I'm gone- at the same time too, I'm worried my chances of success will disappear if I leave it too late."
Charles, still sat comfortably at the table, piped up. "I can call my security."
Though defiant as he still remained suspicious of Charles, Sebastian saw no choice other than to allow it. "Alright, I want them here immediately. They don't leave until everyone is out of the country."
Charles found Sebastian's request reasonable and went to contact his men. Sebastian's action of leaving was put to a stop when his phone rang. He turned back to Elena as he put the phone against his ear and listened in. "Y'know, I was thinking it wasn't necessary to mention that I'm holding Luciana for ransom, but then I realised who I was dealing with and the abysmal IQ you seem to posses." Giuseppe informed through the phone. "And it's entirely your fault, I thought I'd exclude children from my depraved acts but because someone decided to frame that old hag's murder on me, the average age of my victims is much higher than I'd like it to be. I'm sure little Luci will even it out for me."
"What?" Sebastian huffed, dumbfounded by what he was hearing.
Giuseppe chuckled at the chance to improve his intelligence. "You know, the mean, where you add all the values together then divide by the number of values-"
