Elena dialled for Amara, but it went straight to voicemail. Elena voiced her annoyance with a groan before she left a message. "Amara, I need you to find Catalina, nobody's seen her and it's grounds for panic." Amidst her recording, she saw Rita from the corner. "Call me when you get this."

Elena sprinted over to Rita before she could escape. "Hey, I heard about everything, how are you feeling?" Elena asked.

"I'm scared, Elena. Jett's back." Rita confessed. "I didn't like being blackmailed, but I wanted it to be from anyone but him."

"I know, you were so brave." Elena tried to comfort her, but Rita backed away.

"How'd you even find out we were here?" Rita sighed out of annoyance. "Let me guess, Sebastian."

"No." Elena spoke dismissively.

Rita continued to pester her until she got her answer. "Alright then, who?"

"I can't tell you." Elena gulped, fearing a reaction of disapproval from Rita, which is what she got.

"You're seriously gonna say that after what happened last night?" Rita laughed.

"This is different, Rita." Elena tried to explain, but Rita turned her head away. "I wasn't keeping Landon's capture from you, I was expecting him to share that piece of information with you. This is way different, this isn't my information to share. This is more than what you'd think it is."

Rita scoffed. "Well, sorry if I find it hard to believe right now."

"Oh, come on." Elena groaned. "We never fight, and we shouldn't be fighting over something so trivial anyways."

"If it's so trivial, you should be able to tell me." Rita sassed and Elena didn't reply. "That's what I thought, we're not such great friends after all, are we?"

Rita turned to leave and Elena took a step forward. "Rita, wait!" She called out.

"Don't follow me!" Rita snapped.

Elena remained stationed, watching Rita leave, she felt a hand on her shoulder. She trailed her gaze up the arm and saw Lancelot. "Thank you." He told her. "And also sorry."

Elena shrugged his hand off of her shoulder. "Just do what you need to do."

Sebastian and Landon were secluded in the corner of a restaurant, Landon itching to ask Sebastian questions about his personal life, went right ahead. "Have you ever thought of going above and beyond? Like going further than a private investigator, something like a bodyguard or agent."

Sebastian shrugged. "Thought about it, of course, but realistically that can never happen. I never finished school and I think that's a requirement." Sebastian stopped and tried not to laugh. "Me, a bodyguard? Don't people like that need to be three hundred pounds?"

"I mean, you're already one, aren't you? With all that work you do for that family, I think you're more than qualified." Landon remarked.

"Yeah, that's because they pay me well." Sebastian answered. "Though at times I dislike what I have to do and would kill to have other opportunities, the benefits are attractive. I was originally just trying to survive, but then I met Val and suddenly everybody needed favours, they couldn't pay me any more than they already had."

"So you've become irresponsibly loyal to them, is that another reason?" Landon pondered.

"I'm not allowed to be loyal. When Lace-" Sebastian stopped and cleared his throat, "-sorry, Layla, took me in, the main idea was that we looked out for ourselves, though I didn't expect to get where I am, so I'm unsure if the same ideal could apply. It does however make it remarkably easier to work for someone if you're bonded with them, they become an ambition for you which is good if you've become cynical. That's just my opinion."
