Lancelot watched an important figure enter a casino with a metal briefcase in hand. Lancelot had his eye on the case, assuming it had cash in it. An announcement went off about a jackpot and upon that, everyone was distracted, including the briefcase holder. Lancelot rushed over, swooping the case into his hands and bolting off towards the exit.
After the fuss over the announcement died down, the figure looked back and saw Lancelot running off with his briefcase. "Hey, he stole my case!" He yelled, pointing at Lancelot. As his statement caught the attention of others, Lancelot quickened his pace.
As several guards were sent after him, Lancelot dashed up the staircase, laughing to himself. The stairs led to the roof and upon reaching it, Lancelot laughed even louder. He didn't know where to go from there and the guards were drawing in on him.
Lancelot walked towards the ledge and looked down. "You're surrounded, give up the case!" The guard yelled at Lancelot after reaching the roof. Lancelot ignored the guards and smirked, stepping closer to the ledge. "Are you crazy? Get away from there!"
Lancelot flung himself off of the ledge with a smirk on his face. Lancelot landed on a soft market stall roof that broke his fall. He rolled off and fell into an alleyway, the case still in hand.
"You're playing a dangerous game, Lance." Zinnia stepped out from the shadows and helped Lancelot up, he pushed her away. "You could've gotten yourself killed, especially stealing from that sort of person."
"I don't care if I live or die, Zinnia." Lancelot spat. "Besides, those people deserve it. It's money made from the blood of the poor."
"Try think about the rest of us next time, Robin Hood." Zinnia crossed her arms. "You're going to get us killed as we come save you each time."
Lancelot quietened. "Sorry." Lancelot checked the case. "I'll make it up to you, wanna get some burgers?"
Zinnia cracked a smile and nodded. "Let's go."
Later that day, before Valentino called Dina. "Are you mad at me? I'm sorry for yesterday." Valentino apologised. Dina didn't bother dignifying that statement with a response. She hung up. Valentino dialled for Giuseppe. "Hi, Giuseppe, can you pass the phone to Dina?" Valentino asked, Giuseppe did as he asked. "I'm sorry Dina, was he nice?"
Dina moved away from Giuseppe. "He was fine. He seemed happy to see me. I'm still furious with you, however. You don't see the problem with using me as ransom?"
"I was desperate, Dina." Valentino sighed. "I promise I'll never put you in a situation like that ever again." Valentino then smiled. "So, how did it go?"
"I'm seeing him sometime again, this time with Nora." Dina whispered as Valentino squealed in excitement for her. "Shut up, God, you're weird."
"You need to tell me everything." Valentino requested.
Dina looked over her shoulder at Giuseppe in the other room. "Okay, just not now. We'll meet up sometime this week, okay?"
"Okay." Valentino hung up with a smile.
Rita and Leo were immersed in conversation as they walked down the street. "Are you going to Catalina's party?" Rita asked.
Leo shrugged. "I want to, but I don't know what to get her. I doubt anything she wants can be secured in under twelve hours."
"I've got something for her." Rita stopped and turned around. "It can be from the two of us." Rita laughed. "Us, I like that."
"Alright then." Leo leaned forward mockingly. "And what will she be getting from us?"
