Valentino rounded up his children as they prepared to leave for Dina's house. Valentino walked over to Catalina. "Did Elena end up coming home last night?" He asked with a tinge of concern.
"Ask Lorenzo." Catalina responded indifferently. "You did after all send him on a mission to find us, maybe it'll show you there's a better way to do things next time."
"I couldn't find her." Lorenzo spoke up. "Her phone wouldn't show up on the app and Sebastian wouldn't answer my calls."
Catalina scoffed. "I think that solves it, she's with him."
"Wait hold on a minute." Donatello chimed in. "The last time we didn't know where Elena was, she had gotten into a car crash."
"Donatello, you're over exaggerating. We have more important things to worry about." Catalina glanced up at her father. "You know how difficult Dina will be if we're late."
Donatello grabbed his backpack and started hitting Catalina with it. "Show. A. Little. Compassion!" He said in between hits.
"Donatello!" Valentino yelled, pulling him away by the back of his collar. "What has gotten into you? This behaviour is unacceptable!" Valentino let go of Donatello's collar, causing him to fall. "Grab the rest of your things, we're leaving in ten minutes." He directed before walking off.
Sebastian tugged Landon's head out of the water. "Tell me why you've been stalking them."
Landon, after taking a huge breath, spitefully spat. "I'll tell you what, you can go-" Before Landon finished his sentence, Sebastian dunked his head back into the tank.
"I'm getting a strong feeling this is going to take a few days." Sebastian complained to Rafael.
"I was expecting at least seven business days." Rafael joked.
Sebastian was seemingly annoyed with Rafael, eventually pulled Landon's head back out. As he was about a speak, a voice was heard from outside. "Hello~!" The voice sung. "Sassy Bassy, where are you?"
Rafael's brows furrowed. "Is that-?"
"Lance." Sebastian murmured, letting go of Landon's head. "How on earth did he find us?"
"I don't know." Rafael shrugged. "Look, you stay here, I'll go deal with him. Don't do anything until I get back."
Sebastian did as Rafael said. He sat on a wooden crate and watched Landon attentively. Landon panted. "I'm innocent."
Sebastian scoffed. "As you've been saying for the past ten hours. I don't understand how you think that-"
"That's right you don't understand. You don't know what it's like to be a parent." Landon interrupted. "They're pure and beautiful. They deserve the world and you'd do anything to protect that image."
Sebastian looked at Landon with contempt. "Your son has a nicotine addiction."
"That's exactly what I'm trying to explain to you. Everything you thought you knew changes. Everything you stood for, your logic-" Landon shook his head. "I know it may look like I did, but I didn't do any of that stuff. I have done some things that maybe I should have thought about first. So what? My job is to protect my child and I take no shame when I know that's my intention."
Sebastian hesitated in responding. "Huh." He wasn't at all moved by Landon's words, but it did spark a thought in his mind. "I guess I kind of have something like that. Except it's not my child. It's someone I want to protect." Sebastian mumbled as Landon looked interested in what he was saying, Sebastian took it as his cue to keep talking. "When I first met all of the Faustini's, I hated them with a burning passion, all of them-"
