Rita slowly awoke as a result of the constant bickering between her captors. "Are you sure you don't want to get involved? I can only imagine the boredom you're feeling just sitting back there and watching." A feminine voice asked.
"Hey, back off, this one's mine and mine only!" Jett growled as he knelt aside Rita. She gasped in fear which brought their attention to her as they realised she was now awake.
"She's not my type, anyways." Giuseppe mumbled.
Rita turned her head over to Giuseppe and her vision became less blurry. She identified the woman as Vittoria DeSalvo. "You..." Rita collected her thoughts. "You're supposed to be missing. The strangler-" Giuseppe smirked at the mention and Rita looked away. "That makes a lot of sense."
"And yet you never picked up on it." Giuseppe laughed and Vittoria clung onto him.
"Where's Leo?" Rita asked.
"He's right beside you." Giuseppe answered, pointing to the left of her. Rita rolled over and saw Leo laying on the floor.
"Y'know, we had to give him a big dose due to his prior abuse of narcotics- but I think we may have gone a bit overboard." Vittoria laughed with Giuseppe.
Rita became horrified and tried to crawl to him, that's when she noticed her legs were roped together. "Oh come on, don't be like that, I'm sure he's fine." Giuseppe snickered. "He's just having a really really bad trip."
Jett growled before taking Rita's head between his hands. "Stop giving them your attention, focus on me." He commanded as Giuseppe stood up.
"Well, I'm on my way out anyways." Giuseppe snickered. "I've got an errand to run anyways." He informed as Vittoria wrapped her arms around him, pleading for him to stay. "Don't worry, I'll be back. The sooner I get this done, the sooner you get to have your fun."
"Where are you going?" Rita wondered.
Giuseppe leant his forehead on Vittoria's. "You may want to give her another dose, especially considering she's much more feisty than the others."
"Anything for my darling, Gee." Vittoria responded before breaking away from him to do as he suggested.
Dina answered the door and was greeted with a warrant. "Ma'am, is your husband home?"
Dina stepped aside, fully aware they were searching for Giuseppe. "Don't you ma'am me, do I look forty?" Dina crossed her arms in disapproval as they trampled each other in order to enter. "Hey, be careful, that's expensive marble you're stomping on!"
The main officer that had the warrant in his hand walked over to Dina. "He's not home. I haven't seen him since yesterday. I assume he's run off." She answered more calmly, ignoring the officers that were tearing apart her home.
"Do you have any idea where we might have went?" He questioned.
"No." She answered abruptly and he looked at her suspiciously. "We were on our way to separating, so forgive me if I don't know."
"Is there any reason for the separation?" The officer crudely asked and was met with a disdainful glare from Dina. "I need to know in case there's evidence there."
"I'm sure you'll find out his reasoning when you catch him and ask him yourself." Dina shrugged. "There was no big thing that led to our separation- before this revelation, of course, just little things." Dina thought about it for a second. "Our parents wanted us married, now that most of them are dead, our marriage doesn't hold weight anymore."
The officer remained verbally and emotively unresponsive. He scribbled something on a notepad then ripped the page out of it. "Here's my number, if he tries to contact you, call me, otherwise you'll be charged with aiding a criminal." He informed her as she took the paper.
