Out from the hallway door, walked Kristen. She immediately saw me and Liam and shouted.
"Hey guys! What're you guys doing?" She smiled. "Skipping class?" She raised her eyebrow.
"Wow. Just wow. I was going to get water-"
"And I was going to the bathroom." Liam said, interrupting me. I shot him a sideways glare. I was so thankful Kristen didn't know about our "fights" and stuff.
"Oh that's cool. I have to drop something off to the office." She lifted up a sealed envelope. "I think it's grades or something. I hear your slacking, huh Liam?" She asked, and immediately grinned. "Just kidding." Another smile.
Liam fake chuckled. My god, could he act any more unnatural?
"He knew," I playfully punched Liam. "Right, Liam?" I shot him another look.
"Yeah, yeah, I knew," he looked up at Kristen. "I'm just tired. Kinda out of it."
"Oh, well I hope you get some sleep tonight!" Kristen laughed. "And I'll see you late Amanda." She winked, gave me a hug, and made her way down to the office.
"I'll come with you!" I shouted before she left the hall. I definitely didn't want to be stuck in the hall again with Liam. "My teachers out, so we have a sub. Subs can't do anything." I smiled, showing all my teeth.
"Alright! Come on!" Kristen responded, eager to get on her way. I started running down the hallway when Liam grabbed my arm.
