Once we'd all showered and dried, I sent them on stage on bellies full of warm soup. I didn't want anyone catching a cold from being outside getting wet in the middle of autumn. We were flying right back to England straight after the show, so I was stood holding all their bags, phones and the pillow Kyle insisted on bringing everywhere.
It was the maddest few hours so far. They ran off stage into a waiting taxi, straight to the airport for the one hour flight, into another taxi to meet the tour bus and travel back up to Nottingham. But it was all worth it, as we had an easy few days coming up.
I was lying in my bunk, reading a book. For the first night of the tour I didn't have to make any calls or think. 'Want a cuppa?' I asked him. He tore his eyes away from his laptop.
'Sure.'
'Whatcha watching?' I asked. He spun the computer around so I could see. 'Twin Peaks.' I sighed. He sure loved that programme.
'Wanna watch it with me?' I eyed up how much space there was in the bunk. They weren't really designed for two people. But maybe it would be nice to watch it with him, after all, it had been how we'd spent the first two days living together.
'Yeah, ok then. I'll be back in a minute. Tea?' He nodded.
'BRING SNACKS.' He yelled after me.
