The first thing you realized when you woke up was that it was thundering.
The second thing you realized was that your boyfriend, wash, wasnt beside you in the bed.
You rubbed your eyes and looked at the alarm clock that was beside the bed.
It read 3:26am.
It thundered again and your eyes went wide.
Wash didn't like thunderstorms, he feared them, his PTSD would kick in.
You walked around the apartment as the thundering continued.
The one place we didnt have windows was the bathroom.
You went to the bathroom door and seen light coming from under the door.
Opening the door, you seen wash.
He was on the floor, with his knees pulled to his chest, rocking.
You sat down and put your arms around washes waist.
He stiffened a bit, and let out a whimper.
You put your hands on his ears, trying to block out the noise, as he let out whimpers.
You rocked back and forth, holding wash, calming him down.
When the biggest thunder cracked, wash jumped and let put a whimper.
You started to sing a song(sorry if you dont like to sing. Just hum or something)
The song you sung/hum was one of washes favorites.
You sat there for awhile longer before the thunder began to stop.
"Wash the thunder stopped", I said.
He looked up, shaking, and looked around.
"Wash why didnt you wake me up"you asked.
He sniffled"I didn't want to wake you up".
"Whatever your going through I'll be going through to", you said smiling.
He, still shaking, smiled at you.
You kissed him happily.
"Know let's go back to sleep", you said getting up.
Wash got up and put his head on your shoulder, leaning onto you.(idk if your taller than him. Pretend your smaller).
You got to your bedroom and dragged wash with you.
Sitting on the bed he slowly sat down, the PTSD still present.
You rapped your arms around washes waist and rested your head on his shoulder.
"You know I love you right", wash said rapping his arms around you.
You nodded" I love you to".
He laid down and kissed your forhead.
"Promise me you wont leave me", he said.
You smiled"I will never leave you".
You planned to keep that promise.
