"Good morning Doctor Manoban" some nurses said as i pass by them so i smiled widely and bowed my head down a bit while walking
"Hi Doctor Manoban!" Other doctors said so i smiled at them again. I walk inside the elevator and saw a couple of nurse and patients inside
"Good morning Doctor Manoban" the nurse said
"Good morning" i greeted her back..
"Why isn't she our doctor? " the girl from behind me whispered making me smirk. You know what i cant really blame these people since im probably the most good looking doctor in this hospital. I'm full of myself sometimes..... just sometimes.
I went out of the elevator and go straight to my office to check out some papers of the patients first when my phone vibrates i pull it out from my pocket and answered it
"Are you at the hospital already?" Jisoo asked on the other line. Jisoo has been my bestfriend since i started working on this hospital a year ago. I owe her a lot. I went out of my office to start walking outside
"Nope" i said while walking and smiling towards the nurses who are greeting me
"Then where are you?" she asked
"At the morgue getting some liver here" i said
"Quit those sarcastic things.. seulgi and i will be going now i just called to tell you to buy some foods before you go home later bye" she said not even waiting for me to say something.
Ive been living with Jisoo and Seulgi for a year now and they are my bestfriends. They are crackheads but ill accept them either way cause... i dont have a choice.
I went back to my office as i finished talking to Jisoo. After a short while my door open up and a guy nurse let my first patient in.
"Hi.. what brought you here?" i asked looking down at a kid whos probably 7 years old with her dad next to her
"Her tummy's aching since the other day so i brought her here today for a check up " her daddy said so i nodded and smiled at the little girl. Im a pediatrician i take care of kids and infants. I love this job since kids are hard to manage yes but they're also too cute that makes me too soft for all of these. I checked up the little girl and also suggested that we should do a couple more test on her just to make sure that we arent missing out any illness that she may have. Once shes all done and i prescribe her a couple of medicines another child went in so i did the check up all over again.
Once im done with a couple of kids i stood up and went out of my room to walk towards a vending machine to grab myself a chocolate milk.
"Doctor Manoban, I'd buy you a chocolate drink next time" a nurse said making me smile
"No need.. but thank you" i said pausing a bit as i turn a bit to face her and saw that shes with a group of nurse around her "Let's all go back to work" i said softly waving at them as i walk out of their sight. I went back to my office and checked papers again while waiting for the next patient when i remembered the girl from yesterday. I dont know why she was so shocked when she saw me that she even dropped a fire extinguisher... shes probably one of those doctors who greets me all day. I just cant remember each one of them since they're too many. Though, i cant forget about that girl's face if i saw her before already. She's way too pretty than the others and she'll seriously stand out even if there are a couple of people around.
I stand up from my chair and walked out of my room. I started walking towards the hallways trying to take a peek on a couple of department trying to see if she's around. Probably after almost an hour of roaming around im currently walking on a hallway when i heard some girls greeted me so i smiled at them and greeted them back. I put my gaze ahead and saw the girl from yesterday walking with another doctor.. i know the other doctor cause shes a family physician and she sometimes ask for help when it comes to the younger patients. I saw the other girl's feline eyes landed on mine and she look towards the girls who i greeted then back at me. I stopped from walking and look towards the other doctor
"Doctor Bae" i greeted making her stop and the other girl keeps walking but doctor bae pulled her back to stop her from walking
"Lisa..stop being formal we've worked together a lot already" she said making me chuckle. I look towards the other girl making her get the point "oh i forgot.. Lisa this is Doctor Kim, Kim Jennie my bestfriend" she said while she just keep her eyes away from me making me chuckle. I saw irene nudge her making her furrow her brows as she look over at Irene and mouthed 'what' in the most annoyed way as possible
"Nice to meet you Jennie.. Im Lisa" I said putting my hand out for a handshake. She obviously dont want to shake my hand but i saw how Irene nudge her again and this time much stronger making it more visible
"It's Doctor Kim" she said towards me and didnt accept the handshake so i put out my other hand and shake my own as i smile
"Nice to meet you too"I said making Irene laugh "youre probably busy so ill let you go now.. ill see you around Irene" i said making her smile at me as i look over at Jennie who still has her poker face on "I'll see you around Doctor Kim" I said making sure to point out the word Doctor Kim a lot more making her roll her eyes as i just chuckle and bowed down a bit before leaving
