Lisa's POV
we went back home at December 30 so we can join them for January 1st. I asked Jennie if she don't really go to her family during the holidays and she told me she'd rather be with me cause it seems like she's not really on a good term with her parents. We decided to just held it on Jisoo's family house since we wont fit inside the apartment Junghun, his little baby girl and his wife. Jiyoon will also join us with her husband and 2 kids. Mom will also be here Seulgi will be here also with Irene since both their families decided to go somewhere so they cant join us during the new year. Mom is also here and also Ella and Jennie.
"Jagiya come here" Jennie says while I'm playing with Junghun's baby. I excused myself and walk towards Jennie who's sitting on the sofa right outside the house since we'll spend on their garden.
"Why?" I ask sitting beside her while she's holding my phone. I'm actually fine if Jennie has my phone since i dont really talk to anyone that much
"What is this?" She asks turning my phone so i read it and it's a text from Chaeyoung which is basically just a normal 'Happy New Year and have a great year ahead' message
"She just greeted me" I said nonchalantly
"Why does she have to greet you?" She fires back I was about to assure her when her phone lit up so we both look down and a message from Song pops up greeting her a great New Year and to see Jennie on their photoshoot soon
"Looks like I wasn't the only one" I said looking up to her so she put down my phone and throws herself on me making her sit on my lap while she wrap her arms around my waist snuggling onto me
"Jagiyaaa I love you" she said cutely making me smile. Jennie just do this a lot when she knows that she's wrong or if she knew that she's just being too sensitive. I kissed the top of her head while wrapping my arms around her as well. I'm wondering when will I feel the right time to say it back where I'll be really sure that i love her. What I feel right now can be admiration or infatuation and I dont want to rush and tell her that i love her too even if i still am not sure.
Jisoo's sister sits next to us giving us both a smile. She starts a small talk with us while Jennie's still snuggling on me. Jisoo's busy on her phone as she's making some phone calls for work so she can just rest and enjoy later. Ella's playing with Jiyoon's two sons. Mom is talking with Jisoo's parents. Seulgi and Irene's taking care of Junghun's baby while Junghun and his wife's grilling some meat already.
"Anyway enough of my so many rants it's almost midnight.. you two I hope you'll stay stronger this year cause you look happy together" Jiyoon said making me smile so i just nod towards her before she run after her son to let them drink some water. Ella run towards us so Jennie unwrapped her arms around me to get a towel for Ella
"Eomma will there be lots of fireworks later?" She asks looking at me.. I look up to the sky and it seems clear because you can clearly see the stars above. The wind is also cold as it's blowing on our skin.
"Jagiya go get your camera" Jennie said while she stood up to go join the others. I walk inside and go towards the couch since i placed my bag there. I crouched down and my head starts to ache so bad that i fall back down on my butt as i take a grip of my hair. It feels like my head's being hit by a bat over and over again.
I stayed there for a minute till I feel fine again. I havent had that for a really long time but I still didnt get any memory back.. it's still the same. I grab my camera and went out seeing all of them around the table already while waiting for all of the meats to be cooked
"Hey.. are you fine?" Jennie asked once i stood next to her so i look down at her and nod while smiling. I dont want Jennie to worry since it's not a big deal anyway "are you sure?" She asks so i nod once again to reassure her. She hand me a glass of water so i can drink and before we even knew it everyone started counting down for the New Year. Ella held my hand so i smile at her

1!!" They screamed out and the fireworks blows up on the dark night sky illuminating the whole place. I saw Jiyoon and her husband kiss same goes for Junghun and his wife while Jisoo's busy with the box of chicken she ordered. Irene and Seulgi kissed too... they never really told us what's their label but i guess i know now. Mom has Junghun's baby on her arms while she looks up to the sky while both Jisoo's parents looks up to the night sky as well to watch. I felt a soft hand on my cheek so i turn my head and I immediately felt a soft lips pressed on mine that made me close my eyes in an instant. I shared a passionate kiss with Jennie while all we hear on the background was the fireworks up in the sky and nothing else. We break the kiss a couple of seconds later but we kept out faces close to each other as we open our eyes to look at one another
"Lisayah I love you... and I'll always wait for you no matter how long that'll be"
