Jennie arrived early at the hospital at around 7 am since she got an early call. She stayed at her car to call the lady that she hired to take care of Ella and to also inform her to wake Ella up at 8am since she has a class. Once she's done talking on her phone she grabbed her bag and started retouching her make up when she saw Lisa going out of a car and it looks like Jisoo dropped her. She put down her make up and look at the taller girl seeing how pale she is and she looks horrible.. But she looks beautiful in any way.
"She probably stayed up late last night stalking that Chaeyoung girl" Jennie said to her self and continue putting her make up on. Once she's all done she made her way out of her car and go straight to the emergency room.
A couple of patient was rushed in the emergency room so she started checking them all up and take the ones who need a surgery immediately.
Half of her day are just full of surgery here and there and when she's all done she made her way towards the cafeteria to eat with Irene. She didn't saw Lisa but her friends Jackson, Bambam and Eunwoo's here.
Jennie's POV
"By the way I gave the foods to Chaeyoung.. She's so adorable when she found out that it's all food. She seems to like it that much" Irene said chuckling
"Did you tell her it was Lisa who sent those? "
"Well yeah.. She said to send Lisa her thank you. But I think she receives a lot of gifts from her admirers cause there's a couple of bags and wrapped gifts on her table and one nurse told me her admirers really give her a lot of expensive things "
"If Lisa ever gave you something expensive so you can give it to Chaeyoung then decline" I said looking at my food
"Why's that? " I look up to her to see her confused face
"Lisa's already struggling financially and it's just too dumb of her if she'll go all out to a person who she just has a crush on and they're not even together" I said making Irene nod somehow since I'm right anyway
Once we're done with our lunch I continue with work mostly checking up patients and doing my rounds to check some patients. Probably around 6 when I'm walking at the hallways and I finally saw Lisa she immediately smile towards me and I didn't return it as usual but.. She's still pale since earlier. She didn't even eat lunch
When we pass each other I walk faster so she won't greet me or anything but I heard a thud behind me so I look back and saw Lisa laying down on the floor.
"Lisa! " I yelled out and run towards her.. I seriously want to think that she's just fooling around cause she likes annoying me but I can't think that way when she's already pale earlier "Lisa wake the fuck up!! " I yelled out and grab my phone from my coat pocket and called the emergency room telling them to go up at the 6th floor cause Lisa fainted and they also told me they'll inform the director. A couple of minutes and Lisa's already moved out of the hallways and we started running to the emergency room.
I was about to check up on her when I felt a hand holding me back so I look at my side and saw the director and he let Dr Lee pass us.
"Sir what if Lisa needs an urgent operation? Dr Lee can't take over" I said hysterically
"And do you think you can operate when you're not calm at all? " he said making me shake my head
"It's alright.. She doesn't need to be operated" he said so I just stood there with him for a couple of minutes until Dr Lee went out and they started transferring Lisa out of the emergency room
"She just needs to rest.. Same old"he said towards the director which I didn't catch completely since I don't know what he's talking about. I walk out of there while they're talking and made my way towards the room where they transfered Lisa and I saw two doctors inside checking up on her
"I'll just inform Dr Wang and her other friends please excuse me" the other doctor said bowing towards me so I just nodded and walk closer towards Lisa's bed and she's asleep. It's either she's really tired or it's because of something else. She haven't been like this around me. I checked all her stats on my own while the other doctor's writing her stats down on her paper but he just let me check on my own.
"I heard she had a traumatic one"he said while I'm just staring at Lisa. I look at the doctor as the word he just stated is very familiar
"What do you mean traumatic? " I asked furrowing while looking at him. He put down his paper and pen to look at me
"Yeah you know retrograde, anterograde, etc.. Those kind of amnesia" he said making me freeze on my spot "I have to report to the director I'll get going Dr Kim" he said bowing a bit and walking out of the room. I kept staring into the distance as I can't believe what I just heard and before I can even stop it I felt my tears started steaming down my face as I look towards Lisa's fragile body laying down on this hospital bed. I didn't know how long I was holding my breath until I sit down on the side of her bed and releasing a deep sigh on the information
