Lisa's POV
I woke up to Jennie caressing my cheek. I open up my eyes seeing her eyes focused on my face.. she slowly smile when she noticed that I'm awake already
"Good morning" she said in a low tone which is more like a whisper since her face is close to mine. I didnt talk back and pulled her in for a hug which she just let me while she rub my back with her other hand. "Babe remember what ive told you last night?" She said while i just stayed on our position
"About what?" I asked with a raspy voice since i just woke up
"My surprise for you" she replied making me remember it. I nodded and she pulled out from the hug to look at me "wash your face.. I'll wait for you outside" she said and place a kiss on the tip of my nose before she went out of the bed to go outside.
I clearly have no idea on what she prepared. I can't even remember any occasion today... wait, what if today is our anniversary before i got into an accident? I havent even prepared anything neither did i borrowed some money so i can take her out and buy her a gift... since it's the least thing i can do for Jennie
I walk towards the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth. I put up my hair in a bun before going out and when i stepped in the living room Ella's the first one who run towards me so i leaned down to give her a hug and a kiss on her forehead. Once i straighten up I saw another right on the couch while Jennie's no where.. she's probably inside the kitchen
"Grandma Lisa Unni's here" Ella said making my presence known. When the lady turn around my eyes started watering and i cant even hold it back and i just started crying at my position and froze on my spot
"It's great to be back here with you" Mom says as she engulf me in a tight hug. My vision are all too blurry as i just burried my face on my mom's shoulder.
Jennie made a promise to me that she'll take mom out of the prison and pay all her debts for me. I wasnt expecting that it'll all happen already. I thought it'll take some time but I'm so so glad that mom's here now. I look up from my mom's shoulder and saw Jennie standing on the kitchen's doorway already as she smiles at me.
"I missed you mommy" I said with my voice cracking from crying too much
"I should thank jennie a lot" mom says pulling out from the hug and wiping my tears away. She stared at my face for a couple of seconds while smiling before she turn around and saw Jennie standing right there with 2 cups on her hand
"You already thanked me so much " Jennie said smiling towards my mom. "I told you Lisa, your mom has been a mom to me as well so i will help you both as much as i can" she said putting both cups on the table while my mom took a seat on the couch. Ella walk towards her and comfort her as well since she cried too.
Jennie walk towards me and drape her arms around my waist and started rubbing my back again
"Thank you" i said since I'm all out of words on how can i say how grateful i am towards what she did
"Are you happy?" She asked looking at my face. I nodded while she put her other hand on my cheek to wipe my tears"im glad you are" she nodded as well and smile at me. I put my arms around her as well and pulled her to press my lips on her.. i felt her lip stretched which means she smiled. I pulled away and placed another kiss on her forehead saying thank you once again.
I sat next to my mom with Jennie on my side and Ella on the other side of my mom.
"I also said sorry to your mom for leaving you the day of your accident " i look towards mom while she take a sip of her coffee
"Maybe it's meant to happen. It already happened and gladly you're back together" mom says "Lisa.. you dont know how much I like Jennie for you" mom says once again making me look at Jennie who's smiling and blushing at the same time "but thank you dear for helping me out. I really appreciate it "
"Eomma" Ella called out... mom probably know who's Ella now and why she's calling Jennie 'eomma' since she's not asking about her and they seem to get along well now "where will grandma stay?" She asks
"Right.. i was about to ask you but it slipped out of my mind" mom said
"Eomma.. let grandma stay here since you and Unni's mostly at work. So someone can be with me while you two arent here" ella suggested. I dont want to cause too much burden on Jennie but i know her now that she wont really accept my 'no'
"That's fine for me. Are you fine with that mom?" Jennie said making my eyes go wide a bit on how she addressed my mom. I heard my mom chuckling so i look towards her and shes looking at me
"Lisa, Jennie calls me mom already when you're dating back then so dont be shocked by it and get used to it" she said tapping my back "You're probably still adjusting on everything and it mustve been hard for you to remember everything but honey trust me.. i think it is a great idea that you're with Jennie. I think it's a great idea that you're back with the one i trust you with. You're back with your Nini"
