These past few days Jennie kept seeing Lisa around Chaeyoung and she just doesn't like that she's hanging out with her a lot. It's not that she hates Chaeyoung cause shes a very nice girl but she just doesn't want the fact that someone else's catching Lisa's attention.
In return Jennie started asking Lisa to go with her during lunch or even dinner if they're at the hospital at evening just so Lisa can't go out with Chaeyoung. To be honest Jennie don't even know if Chaeyoung likes Lisa the same way Lisa do.
"Why didn't you bring your car Jennie.. look the weather seems to be bad" Lisa says as she's driving Jisoo's car since the latter stayed at home today since she wanted to spend her day off with dalgom.
"It's dirty" Jennie simply says as she look outside the car as the rain just keeps on getting heavier. It's been like this since this noon and the news this morning said there's a storm but she didn't really listen throughly since it's just a normal thing
"If you drive it out today then it'll be cleaned up by the rain" Lisa says as she keeps on driving until they arrived at Jennie's place.
"Ella eomma's home!" Jennie says walking inside while Lisa follows since Jennie decided to bring home tons of papers from work so Lisa needs to help Jennie to put it down before she go back home
The little girl went out of her room and immediately hugged Jennie.. Ella lives with Jennie since she's more comfortable here than on her grandparent's house
"Unni it's late and it's raining you should be home. I heard from my friend's mom that there's a storm it's not really safe" Ella says as she greets Lisa who put the papers down on a table while Jennie removed her heels
"I just dropped your eomma home " the thai girl said while smiling at Ella
"Ill go home now" Lisa said waving to both girls while Ella just mumble a low take care
Lisa walks to the elevator and pushed the lower ground level since the parking's there. When the door opened she saw a couple of guards around so she approached them to see what's happening
"Are you going somewhere ma'am? It's really not safe outside the water's rising and it's better if you'll stay at your place" one guard says as he saw Lisa approaching them
"But I'm not from here I just dropped a friend" she said
"Maybe you can stay the night cause your car might get stuck anyway" the other guard says making Lisa sigh as she turned around seeing Jennie standing a couple of meters away from her
"Stay the night" Jennie said while looking anywhere but Lisa so Lisa just nodded and walk towards the car to grab her stuff as she walk back to the elevator with Jennie
"Are you mad at me now?" Jennie said while they're waiting inside the elevator
"Why would I be?"
"Cause you're stuck here because of me" she said not even looking at each other and just staring at the elevator's door
"Should I be worried about anything?" Lisa asked but Jennie didn't answer until the elevator door opened. They both went in and Lisa immediately saw the happiness on Ella's face when she came in.
"I'll just call back home" Lisa said so Jennie just nodded and take Ella towards her own room so she can tuck her to bed. It's pretty late anyway and both Lisa and her ate at the hospital while Ella ate with Irene's parents earlier
Lisa called Jisoo since Seulgi's not answering and jisoo just told her to be careful and just go home when it's safe already. She even joked about Lisa being on the same place as Jennie and Lisa will end up being thrown out of the balcony of the place since Jennie will get irritated by her presence.
Lisa walk towards Ella's room and Jennie's cleaning up her room a bit while the younger one's laying on her bed already.
"Lisa can you help Ella sleep.. I just need to go do some paper works" she said as she went out of the room leaving Lisa there so she climb up on Ella's bed and started brushing her hair softly to help her sleep
"Unni"
"Hmm?"
"The rain is heavy and there's a storm... Eomma gets frightened easily and there will probably be a thunder. Please go to her later alright? Just stay with her even if she doesn't want to" the little girl says. Lisa can't help but to adore the little girl on how much Jennie means to her that she knows Jennie very well
"Don't worry.. just go and sleep well" she said so Ella nodded and closed her eyes. Later on Ella's breathing starts getting more relaxed so Lisa stood up from her bed slowly as she walks outside. Jennie's door is slightly open but she didn't picked inside instead she go towards the couch to lay down there while watching a random tv show.
Lisa didnt even know that she fell asleep but she woke up to the sound of thunder. How long has been this thunder going on? She thought but she immediately remembered what Ella said so she walk towards Jennie's bedroom and slowly open it up seeing Jennie under the covers. She walk closer and that's when she saw Jennie blocking her ears from the sound while closing her eyes. Another lightning strikes and a thunder was heard again making Jennie flinch.
"Jennie" Lisa said softly as she go down on Jennie's level so she can see her. Jennie open up her eyes and saw Lisa a few meters away from her face "don't push me away this time okay? " She said and flashes a tight lipped smile. Jennie can't even move as Lisa climb up on her bed and put her arm under Jennie's head like making it as her pillow as she put it around Jennie's head like she's hugging it and covered Jennie's ear with her own hand making the smaller girl's face hidden on Lisa's chest..while her other arm slides on jennie's waist to pull her closer and starts to rub her back so she can feel better and more at ease
"Don't be scared Jennie.. Im here"
