Jennie's POV
It's been a long day on the OR and it's fucking tiring. I didnt even had the chance to eat lunch good thing Irene sent me a sandwich so i can eat atleast.
I went straight to the vending machine when our last surgery ends to grab myself some coffee-in-can since I'm way too tired to go on the ground floor. Once i reached the vending machine i searched some coins on my pocket or atleast a bill but i didnt even have any. I was about to turn around and leave when a bill was inserted so i look towards who inserted it and... im not even surprised that a smirking girl with her bangs appears on my side
"Long day Doctor Kim?" She said making me groan as i roll my eyes from her and grab the coffee
"I guess you knew what happened to my mom already since you said sorry using the coffee... well not really sorry but you know it's still the same" she said smiling annoyingly "you don't have to pity me by the way.. I'll go through this in a couple of years you know" she said smiling like she doesnt have any problem on her "the bill was my bestfriend's money she probably leave it on my coat pocket" i wasn't asking but.. okay
"Are you done speaking?" I asked quite annoyed making her chuckle
"You can rest now Doctor Kim" she said stepping aside more so i can pass through while she waved at me
I went back to my office to just sit on my chair and stare at my computer. After a couple of minutes i heard a knock on my door.. i wouldnt be surprised if this is Lisa again
"Come in" i said and when the door opened a random nurse went in bowing down a bit to greet me
"Doctor Kim, the director told me to pass this to you then pass it to another doctor stated there" she said so i nodded. Once she went out of my office I open up the folder and there's a document inside which just states this outreach that we'll be doing on a province a couple of hours away from Seoul. We do this out reach every year to raise up the public opinion towards our hospital since it is the one that grows the reputation of the hospital besides the facilities and the doctors. I look down at the names and saw a couple of doctors like Irene, Eunwoo, Jackson, Bambam and ofcourse my nightmare Lalisa Manoban.
I signed over my name and stood up to go outside. I waited for atleast a single doctor who isn't busy to pass it to Lisa since she's one of the people who doesnt have sign on the papers and also the only one i know who hasnt signed yet. Since there's no nurse who's free i just went to Lisa's office and knocked on it. Probably after a couple of times knocking on her door i just open it up since she's not saying anything.
Why the fuck isnt she answering when she's just on her table staring into the distance. I look at her and waited for her to notice my presence but a couple of seconds she's not looking at me yet and she keeps staring into the distance so i slam down the folder on her table making her jump a bit as she look up at me
"Did you teleport here Jennie?" She said with wide eyes in shock making me scoff
"Did your brain teleport somewhere else that you didnt notice me coming in?" I fired back at her "director told me to give that to you so you can sign" i turn around and was about to walk out
"Wait Jennie" she said stopping me so i turn around and just raised my brows at her "do you know the doctor on the other department?" She asked
"There's a lot of department dumbass" i said making her look up to think
"I think they're from the department of therapist. You know the girl with blonde hair, the tall one.. the pretty girl there" she said smiling a bit from the thought making me scoff
"I don't know and i don't fucking care" i said and walks out.
Third person's POV
Later that day around 7pm Jennie and Irene's already on their way home after a long day at work. They went out of Jennie's office and started walking along the long hallway..
"That's Lisa right?" Irene said making Jennie look ahead and saw Lisa looking like a fool while walking pass a department and walking back to walk pass it again over and over again while subtly looking at the department's window.
Jennie and Irene's about to pass by Lisa who just went back to her starting point while fixing her hair a bit so Jennie peeked inside the department and saw a couple of doctors inside but one girl stands out since she's all smily and bubbly just like Lisa and to add that she's also very pretty like what Lisa said earlier.
"Hi Lisa" Irene greeted her making Lisa look at them as she's about to start walking again
"Oh Hi Irene and Jennie" she said waving
"What are you doing here?" Irene asked
"Well I'm peeking to see Doctor Park" she stated like she isn't being weird about peeking inside just to see that Doctor Park
"Are you guys going home? Take care" Lisa said happily while Jennie just keeps her poker face on as they started walking outside
"Doctor Park.." Irene mumbles making Jennie look at her "Lisa has a great choice on girls" she said making Jennie roll her eyes but she doesnt let Irene see that
"What's good with her?" The smaller girl asked like it isnt a big of a deal
"There's so much to like about Doctor Chaeyoung Park.. a lot of doctors on my department has a crush on her as well. She's very kind and also very talented" she said making Jennie roll her eyes for the nth time today
