- minutes later

"We can go to my room" I tell the shaking girl. She nods but doesn't move an inch. Clinging to my body, my heart ached for her. The fear in her eyes made me soften for her. All I wanted to do was make sure she was okay.

I tug my hand under her thighs and I pick her up. She leans her head on my shoulder adorably, my heart melting at how clingy she was to me. I knew that what had happened had made her fearful and I hated that.

Brian opens the room door and pats my back to notify me that he's leaving. I kick the door shut walking into the main part of the room, I'm glad I got the room cleaned earlier on. I put her down on the bed and she lets go of me, using her palms to wipe at her damp cheeks that were flushed red.

I quickly grab her a bottle of water opening it up. I crouch down in front of her placing a hand on her knee then I hold up the water to her. She takes the bottle in her shaking hand as she takes small sips. As she drinks the water my eyes take notice of how red her neck and wrists were, I didn't want to think what I was but it was a possibility that Jasper hurt her and maybe not even for the first time.

"Thanks" she mumbles giving me the bottle back. "No worries" I give her a much needed smile then I put the bottle back.

"Let's get you changed yeah?"

"I have no clothes" she rasps. "It's okay, wear mine" I get up to open up my suitcase, grabbing a Tommy Hilfiger hoodie and some plaid pants.

Before I return to her I see her take her bag off her body and she stays looking down at her hands, ashamed and it's breaking my heart. "I'll go in the bathroom, change here" I put the clothes down beside her then close up the curtains, she stands up and I go towards her.

"Anything you need please tell me" I tell her. She nods blinking away a few tears. A frown takes place on my lips, I bring my hand up towards her cheek and her breath hitches as she goes back a little.

"Just-" I put my thumb on her red hot skin. "Wiping the tears" I finish my sentence, I then go to the bathroom and wait in there. I take some cold water putting against my face, shes fucking hurting and I know I can't bombard her with questions, ask her what happened but I wished I could so I could say the right words that she deserved to hear.

"I'm done" she barely speaks up. I leave the bathroom and i mentally awe at how cute she looked, completely drowned in my clothes.

I walk towards her with an uncontrollable smile. She looks away uncomfortably making my heart drop.

"You can sleep here" I say gently. "I'll take the sofa, if that's okay" she says, fiddling with the sleeve of the hoodie.

"Trust me the bed is comfy" I let out a lighthearted chuckle. "Please Lila, take the bed" I reach out for her hand and she flinches then relaxes. I lead her around the bed and push the duvet back. She gets in and I lean down into her.

"All good?" I ask. She nods unsure but that's okay. Something then takes over my body and my lips press against her temple, her eyes fluttering shut quickly.

I leave my lips to linger for a second hen I pull back. "Wake me if you need anything" I pull the duvet over her and then flick off the lights. I was already in my sleeping clothes so I grabbed a blanket and got on the sofa.

However I couldn't sleep, I wanted to make sure she was okay the whole night and by the sounds of it she wasn't. Her body shook then I heard small whimpers and muffled cries.

Something in me told me to let her cry. Get it out of her system and let her have her space.

So all night, somehow, by the little will power in me, I stayed awake listening to fluctuated cries.

The sun had risen beautifully, rays peaking through the curtains and shining upon Lila. She turns to the side sitting up as she sniffles a little.

"You're awake?" She asks quietly.

"Just woke up" I lie getting up, stretching from the position i had been in all night. "Did you sleep okay?" I ask her despite knowing she didn't.

"Yep" she nods. A smile sets on my lips, how could she say that when she hadn't slept a wink. "Can I sit beside you?" I ask.

She nods shuffling a little. I move the duvet getting in beside her, at first I wanted to leave space but I had restricted myself all night so I put an arm around her and she melts into my side, her small arm wrapping around my middle and the other hand taking hold of mine. It was all so natural with her.

"Thank you" she whispers into my side.

"It's okay" I lean my head against hers. After a few minutes I was about to ask her if she wanted to eat but I heard soft snores escape her mouth. I smile to myself at the fact she slept so easily in my arms.

"Shawn?" Andrew rushes in, Brian following behind him. Both looking distraught.

"Shh, She hasn't slept all night" I whisper. "She okay?" Brian whispers back.

I shake my head no sighing.

"What's the matter?" I ask them.

Andrew sighs handing me his phone.
