"Hey Shawn" I whisper. He was in a deep sleep, gorgeous lips parted, milky skin shiny and smooth, his hair all fluffy. He was a sight for sore eyes.
He hums tucking his head into my neck. I had been awake for like about an hour just laying here, Shawn's leg hooked over my body, his arms keeping me close. He pulled me tighter into him and kissed my cheek, he wouldn't let go and I wanted him to hold me forever.
"Best sleep ever" He rasps. "It was" I lie, only because he was so happy and I was restless all night, not used to his body being slumped over mine. He stays silent and soon I hear light snores escaping his lips again but I felt so stuffed, I had to move him.
"Shawn, let go for a second" I ask him. Instead he takes my body twisting me so I'm face to face with him, his eyes flutter open revealing his pretty brown eyes.
"You're so pretty" he whispers licking his lips. I smile lacing my hands with his but he moves my hands and cups my cheeks in his soft, warm hands.
"I'm never going to hurt you" he tells me, the sheer honesty clear in his voice. "I know" I nod.
"No, I don't think you do" he begins, keeping his eyes on me. "I-I know Jasper hurt you... you don't need to tell me the details because I don't want you to go through the pain again, you just need to know I'm not him. I care about you so much, you just have to let me show you" his voice so soft that I feel myself melt, I'm melting and I'm a puddle in his arms.
I lean in closer gulping.
"Can I kiss you?" I ask in a whisper. He lets out a small hearty chuckle. "Don't ever ask me, the answer is always yes for you" his words getting lower as his lips brush mine. I let my eyes flutter shut and his lips envelope with mine.
I've never kissed anyone this effortlessly, his lips glided against mine smoothly, silk on silk. I part my lips further and as his tongue slips in to play with mine, my body now pinned down and Shawn's hovering over me.
I place my hands at the back of his head as he keeps hold of my face, guiding me against him. "Shawn" I mumble. He pulls back slowly then pecks my lips once more making me grin.
"If I knew you were such a good kisser I would've done that a long time ago" he admits. "The time wasn't right then" I say.
"And now?"
"It's perfect" I nod. "Good" he leans down again pressing his lips against mine. This time his tongue diving in against me. I lift my hips slightly into him resulting in a small hum from him. "Should we stop?" He whispers kissing down my jaw.
I nod pulling him back up.
"Thank you" I let out, my eyes wandering to his. "Why?"
"Because" I shrug. "You're so kind to me"
He smiles then falls on top of me making me giggle. His head resting on my chest. "Will you help me make breakfast?" He asks. "Of course"
- "So you have no idea?" Shawn asks me again. "No! Taylor and dad took my phone" I explain to him that I had no clue what's been said about anything.
"Do you want to know?" He asks raising an eyebrow. "I guess. Do you know?"
"A little, Andrew logged me out of my accounts. He made a brief statement on twitter saying that I'll be gone for a little while. Oh and Carmen tweeted something like 'don't believe everything' and well for Jasper, he's been a ghost, I've not heard anything apart from he's moved away"
I nod leaning on his shoulder. "Do you think I should tell anyone, about me and Jasper?" I ask gulping. "Do you feel like you have to?"
"A little. I know it's probably caused problems for you because he said that stuff about us. And I know Carmen has my back. I feel like I need to tell people how horrible he is, otherwise they'll keep loving him... I can't let that happen to another girl" I admit. Shawn laces his hand with mine and kisses my knuckles.
"No one is forcing you to do anything, I'm fine, you're okay too. If you don't feel ready then don't do anything" Shawn says softly. I look up at him sighing.
"I'm gonna make an Instagram account just to see what everyone is saying, for my own peace of mind, then I'll do it" I tell him. "You don't need to"
"I know. I feel like this is the last bit of him I need to get rid off before I start anything else. I kept everything to myself for months, I need to get it out of my system" I breathe out. "I hate him and what he did... I can't sleep because of him, I'm ruining myself and I can't do that anymore"
"Then I'm with you every step of the way" he leans down pecking my lips.
"Now should we watch a movie?" He asks reaching for the remote. I nod snuggling into his side.
I had a gut feeling I had to do this. He can't hurt the next girl.
