Logan's P.O.V.

I stood at the edge of the dark hallway. To be honest, I was extremely nervous, but I tried my best to keep myself under control as I took small shuffling steps forward. Those feelings were the reason I now found myself in front of the door I never expected myself to be brought to. I took a deep breath, and tried to think logically.

If you find yourself in a figuratively sticky situation, you could always return to your room, but if there is even a small chance that this can work ... I will take it.

I knocked on his door and waited. He is most likely asleep, so it will take him a while to answer the door, I reasoned. After a few minutes, a slightly annoyed Deceit swung the door open.

" What, it hasn't been- " he looked surprised at finding me in the hall, but recovered quickly. " Logan. At two in the morning. At my door. Can't say I'm surprised... "

I sighed, used to how Deceit spoke opposite of what he meant. He was indeed confused at my being here. " I know you have powers that you do not use on a normal basis. Things we other sides do not possess. I am in need of your service, Deceit. Though I know we are not particularly fond of each other, I still apologise for waking you up this early. Perhaps I may make a deal with you, in some way or another? "

He eyed me suspiciously for a moment, then sighed, " Well, I wasn't asleep, but I guess it's not okay. Even though I can stand all you light sides, you are worse than Princey. Come on. " he led me inside and summoned a table with four chairs. I sat directly across from him and folded my hands on the table.

" Now, what do you want me to do for you? "

I looked at him in the eyes as I answered him. " I know that I am always saying how emotions are the bane of my existence, but unfortunately I do have them, as you might have guessed. " he nodded and I continued, " these feelings are keeping me from my full potential. They get in the way of my work, and I cannot stand them. I wish to get rid of them. "

" Hmmm. I don't think there's anything I can do for that. " he snaps his fingers and a side in orange and black appears at a chair on his side.

" Greetings, Logan. " he smiled deviously at me.

" Salutations, Depression. " I was sure my face held no warm expression to the side in front of me. I could make peace with Deceit, but the other dark sides I did not want to encounter.

" Depression.... Is there nothing you might have for our guest? "

He disappeared for a few seconds, then reappeared with a contract in hand. He handed it to deceit and he read it before giving him an approving nod and dismissing him.

" Alright, here it is. You get none of your feelings taken away, and you don't have change your trait name. "

" that....that's it? Only change my name? "

He slid the contract and pen to me. " Do we have a deal? "

I took the pen and signed the contract, and it immediately disappeared.

" There. Now. Please, do stay, I don't want any sleep tonight. The results shouldn't be final by the time you wake up. "

I got up and walked out as the door slammed shut behind me.

There now I just have to get a good night's sleep. I wonder what my new name shall be?

Wait... Trait name.... So my trait will change?

I thought, laying down in my bed.

This might not have been the most logical decision to make without Thomas. Well what is done, is done. All I can do now, is sleep.

Well, even logic itself made a change that wasn't thought through... Good job, Logan...
