A Change Of Sides

Chapter Fifteen

A/N - ( real quick, I don't care if a word I used doesn't actually exist. okay, on with the story! )

Virgil's P.O.V.

I looked at Thomas with wide eyes. I'll admit, I was horrified. I could not believe what he had done. At this point he was looking at me questioningly. I gulped and looked over at Roman again. Patton had helped him stand up, and their hands were still joined. Patton, who was looking at him worriedly, was now looking between me and Thomas. Roman pulled his hand away, and wiped the tears off of his face.

I looked back at Thomas as Princey looked over at me.

" I'm so..... so sorry, you guys.... "

" it's okay, Ro, but we got a new situation now, and it's gonna be anything but easy... "

" Virgil, what is happening? " Logan asked.

I glanced at Thomas, his face showing shame.

I guess my face started to look panicked, because Patton grabbed my hand and looked at me worriedly.
And I did feel panicked. My breathing started to pick up speed, and I started to shake. Patton put his arms around me.

" Hey, it's okay,  whatever it Is, we can get through it. We got through this, right? "

I nodded, but I couldn't seem to form words. I started shaking even worse.

Patton leaned closer and whispered so only I could hear, " it's alright, everything's gonna be okay. Breathe in for four seconds, " I did what he was saying, because I knew it would help, " hold it for seven.... good, now breathe out in eight. You're doing great keep going, Virge. " he hugged me tightly until I steadied my breathing.  He let go when it was back to normal. I squeezed my eyes shut,  It took a minute before I could look anyone in the face.

When I looked up, I could feel my face turn bright red.

" I'm sorry...... " I muttered.

" you're fine, virge,  this is all my fault anyways. " Thomas said.

Roman sent me a sympathetic look, then addressed anyone and everyone present, " can someone explain what is going on here? "

" should you tell them, or should I? " I asked.

He sighed and looked at each of us in turn.

" I made a deal with deceit to be able to help all of you. "

The other three gasped.

" it won't affect you guys at all, but...... I have to..... "

I could tell he was having a difficult time saying it, so I said it for him. " he's gonna turn into paranoia. I'm guessing within the hour. "

Silence filled the room as growing worry spread over everyone's faces,  including mine.

What are we going to do?
