Maurelle was by the lake, reading for a class. But her head was stuck on figuring out how to approach the egg.

"Maurelle?" Viktor walks up to her.

"Yes?" she said.

"You're a friend of Hermione, no?" he said.

"I am, why what is it?" she said.

"Any friend of Hermione's is a friend of mine. I wanted to return the favor of you warning me about the dragons. I figured out how to open the egg without hearing that unpleasant sound. You have to submerge it in water. You will hear a riddle." he said.

"Thank you!" she said

"No problem!" he said.

Maurelle rushed off to go to her egg and try Viktor's advice. She begged Percy to let her in the Prefects bathroom to use the bath.

"Percy, please let me in? I don't ask much, and this will be the last. It'll be quick and quiet." She said

"Alright fine. Please be quick and if you get caught, don't mention me. " he said.

"Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!" She gave him a hug and a quick kiss on the cheek, then ran to the bathroom.

Percy places his hand on his cheek and blushed a bit.

She ran the bath and waited for it to fill up. She dropped her towel and entered in. She took the egg and submerged it in the water, she opened the egg and a melodic tune could be heard. She went underwater and heard a woman singing.

Come seek us where our voices sound. We cannot sing above the ground. An hour-long you'll have to look, to recover what we took.

She came out of the water to breathe,"The lake!" she gasped.

After she dried herself up, she went back to the dormitory. She remembered that in her mother's book, she documented what she did when she participated in the tournament. She got dressed for bed and dried her hair on her vanity. Most of her roommates were asleep except for the lovely, Pansy.

"So you and Draco are together?" she said.

"Does it concern you?" Maurelle smirked.

"It won't last you know." Pansy said.

"What makes you think that?" Maurelle said.

"He is a daddy's boy." Pansy said.

"And? What's so wrong about that? His father tolerates me." Maurelle said.

"Draco always wants to please his father. He wants to become powerful and make him proud. Why would he stick around with a girl that makes him feel weak? You intimidate him, you get in the way of him becoming stronger. One day he will rid of you in order to continue his goal." Pansy said.

Maurelle thought this story sounded awfully quite familiar.

"He needs to have someone on his side, who will support him no matter what. Someone who will never betray him. Someone who will always go back to him." Pansy said.

"You mean someone like you." Maurelle said.

Pansy gave her a look that agreed to Maurelle's comment.

"In the end it's Draco's decision. If he wants to be with a babbling bitch like you, then I pray for him." Maurelle said.

Pansy scoffed, "I wouldn't be so confident, Freya."

"You're all talk, Pansy. Nothing you say will scare me." Maurelle said.

"Maybe it won't be me." Pansy said ominously and went to bed.
