" I will not stand for this...this.." Maurelle ranted.
"Let it all out, Maurelle. Let it all out." Calvin said.
"This bitch, and her stupid bloody reform. I swear to my mother's grave she is bringing this school to shame." she said.
"Students loved coming back to Hogwarts. Free to use magic, and free from restrictions. Now, being here is no different than being out there." he said
"I mean look at this wall." she pointed at all of the frames of rules and regulations Filch nailed on the wall.
They walked away and headed towards the main grounds outside of the school. Professor Trelawney was standing in the middle, with suitcases around her. Students gathered on the sides and watched idly by. Maurelle and Calvin rushed to Trelawney.
"Professor, what's going on?" Maurelle said.
"Why are your belongings here, Professor Trelawney?" Calvin said.
Umbridge walks toward them, with a smut look on her face. Maurelle and Calvin stood in front of Trelawney, but left enough space in the middle for her to speak.
"For sixteen years, I have lived and taught here at Hogwarts, you can't do this!" Trelawney's voice started to crack.
"Actually I can ." Umbridge lifted up a slip and smiled with satisfaction.
Maurelle glared at her, and was about to enter her mind when McGonagall came forward, hugging Trelawney.
"Is there something you'd like to say, dear?" Umbridge looked at Maurelle.
"Oh, there are several things I would like to say!" Maurelle towered over her.
"Maurelle..." Calvin laid a hand on her shoulder, but she shook it off.
"Miss Freya I will take it from here." McGonagall said, but the tension between the two was too high.
"I suggest you should step very far from me, Miss Freya. To question or defy what I do is to resist the Ministry. I advise you to refrain from doing something idiotic." Umbridge said.
"Unlike the rest of the students, I don't fear the Ministry. I believe the Ministry can do well without you. One casualty wouldn't be so bad, now would it." Maurelle started to have a demented look in her eyes, followed with a devilish smirk.
Before the two could do anything else, they were interrupted by the opening of the main door. Dumbledore emerged out and walked to them. Maurelle fixes herself, coming back to her senses.
"Maurelle, stand by. Professor McGonagall, Mister Nocturne, may I ask you to escort Sybil back inside." he said.
"Sybil, dear. This way." McGonagall and Calvin helped guide Trelawney.
"Dumbledore, may I remind you that under the terms of Educational Decree Number 23 as enacted by the minister-" Umbridge said.
"You have the right to dismiss my teachers. You do not, however, have the authority to banish them from the grounds. That power remains from the headmaster." Dumbledore said.
"For now." Umbridge said.
Dumbledore signaled Maurelle to come to him, she brushed past Umbridge and gave her a stink eye as she walked pass her. They both left and walked away from her.
"Don't you all have studying to do!" Dumbledore told the students.
As the students disbursed, Dumbledore and Maurelle can hear Harry calling out to him.
