A/N: I think there is only one chapter left after this one. I will provide more details about the next book at the end of this book.

"Nooo, Maurelle!" Harry said as he fell to the ground as he tried to catch Maurelle, holding her head in his arms.

Voldemort and the rest of the Death eaters fell from the blow that came from Maurelle.

"What have I done?! My daughter! This is your fault!" Voldemort blamed it on Harry.

Harry was too busy holding the love of his life. Even till the end, she defended him.

"Maurelle? Please, wake up. You can stop kidding around, now." He said in denial. He shook her gently to see if she could wake up from her eternal sleep. Once he accepted the turn of events, tears started to fall. He sobbed as he hugged her close. Still no response from Maurelle. After realizing the outcome he started to feel guilt, "I'm so sorry, Maurelle. I'm sorry."

Voldemort watched Harry as this event reminded him of his past. The same thing that happened when he killed Iris. Guilt and sadness. He eventually recollected himself and cast the curse, "Avada Kedavra!" Voldemort quickly casted onto Harry.

Nothing, but white was all Harry saw. He bends over and sees a fragile creature to the side.

"You can't help. Harry, you're a wonderful boy. A brave, brave man!" Dumbledore said.

Harry smiled, seeing a very old dear friend once again.

Emerging from this light, was Maurelle.

"Maurelle!" Harry said.

"Harry!" Maurelle ran towards Harry and gave him a hug.

"You didn't have to die for me, Maurelle." Harry said.

"I know, but it wasn't just that. I had to die as well." Maurelle said.

"What are you talking about?" Harry said.

"I think you well know who my father is." Maurelle said.

Harry nodded.

"He made me into a Horcrux. He knew you were destroying all of them to get to him, so he thought of a plan in case the worst happens. He knew that in order to get to him, you would have to go through me. He knows you couldn't kill me." she said.

"But why stay with him, all this time? Why couldn't you be there with me?" Harry said.

"I'm a weapon, Harry. I have a power in me that I have yet to figure out. Being on his side is one less thing he has to worry about. If he knew that I would be going up against him, who knows how it could have gone. Gaining his trust was the only way to let his guard down. " she said.

"I'm sorry, Maurelle. I kept having doubts about you-" Harry said.

"It's okay, Harry. It was my fault for keeping things from you, but it had to be done. Those years together, kept me alive. You are the reason I wanted to live through those dark moments, Harry." she gently kissed his cheek.

"Shall we walk, Harry?" Dumbledore told Harry.

"Are you coming?" Harry asked Maurelle.

"This walk is for you only. I'll meet up with you in a bit. " Maurelle said.

She sees them off in the distance. Once they were out of her sight, she sits by the bench, near her father's fragile soul.

She hears footsteps coming by, it was Harry and Dumbledore. Time works differently around here, their conversation could have lasted for hours, but Maurelle only waited a few minutes.
