Ava then apparated, into the scene," My Lord, where did you run off to when we were at- " then Ava realized the scene she appeared on to, "Oh no" she mumbled to herself. Ava then looked at the fire from the house. It was so bright and smokey that it can be seen by the nearest town.

"The baby?" Ava said.

"Must've died in the fire" he said coldly.

Tom gently laid Iris's body down, he stood up and drew his wand into the air. He screamed as he casted his signal, green covers the sky. Ava tried to hold her emotions.

"We must go, my Lord" Ava said.

Tom slowly looked down at his dead wife. Then turned slowly to Ava, "Let's go" he said in a monotone voice.

"The public will not be so happy to hear this, her death will cause a devastation." Ava said.

"I will kill him." Tom said.

"Kill who?"  Ava said,

"The one who knows where the Elder Wand is." Tom said.

Ava knew that they were eventually going to go to Grindelwald, but after what happened, she knew his objective was to avenge Iris. He blamed Grindelwald for everything that had happened to her. If Grindelwald didn't start a global war, none of this would've happened. Iris wouldn't have been taken. Thing would've turned out differently if they stayed together.

Tom and Ava went to go to Grindelwald's cell to confront him.

When they arrived in the cell, it was dark, cold, and damp. They heard a deep chuckle echo in the corner of the cell. They saw Grindelwald sitting on the cold floor with his knees to his chest, shackles on his hands and feet.

" I knew you would come, Tom Riddle. I see that searching through my belongings did not go so well. My apologies to your late wife, she was a wonderful witch, a daughter to me." he smirked, knowing he would get right under Tom's skin.

Ava looks at Tom. It's written all over his face that he wanted to make Grindelwald suffer. He didn't respond to Grindelwald right away, so Grindelwald kept talking.

"Strong she was, very-" Grindelwald was then interrupted by Tom.

"Don't talk about her." Tom demanded, "It's your fault she's gone. You ruined her life; you've taken her away from me" He knew it wasn't entirely true. He too is to blame for Iris's demise, yet he found it easier to blame it on someone else.

Ava observed, too scared to interfere with the conversation. Though she believed what Tom said was true, Iris was still able to come back from the darkness Grindelwald raised her. Had Tom not been blind sighted by his own selfish ambitions, they could've still lived happily, and she would still be alive and healthy. Her and their baby.

"I wanted her. She was vital in my plans to rule both the wizarding and muggle world. But, she refused me. She didn't want to become what she was born to do. Such wasted potential. Almost a crime not to pursue her desires...her destiny... I didn't want anyone to have her nor let her waste away in that 'normal' life she chose. I probably did you a favor, Voldemort. In order to become a powerful wizard, you need to overcome those who are above you, and she was one of them. Don't tell me you were going to continue your plans to become one and let her live, as if that could happen. You are not even close to Dark Magic as we were."

"Enough!" Tom raised his wand to him and hit him with the Cruciatus Curse.

Grindelwald laughed the pain away, "Kill me, boy. I welcome death with open arms. I won't tell you where the wand is. You aren't worthy of holding it---Do you want to know why Iris is more powerful than what you'll ever be?" Grindelwald taunted him.
