Harry, Ron, and Hermione were under the invisible cloak.

"You stood on my foot you know?" Hermione whispered.

"Sorry" Ron said.

"Where is Maurelle? She was suppose to meet us here." Hermione said.

"I know she will catch up. But you can't blame her." Harry said.

"You're right." Hermione said.

"What do you mean?" Ron said.

"The Slytherin dormitory is near the dungeon, she is surrounded by stuck up Slytherins, and no invisible cloak. We can't blame her for being late or not coming at all." Hermione said.

They finally arrived at the third floor and approached the door. Hermione stuck her wand outside of the cloak, but before she could say a spell, the door opened slightly. The three were startled, so they slowly moved back.

"Hey guys" Maurelle's head popped out of the door and motioned them to come in.

"You knocked the living breath out of me." Ron said.

"How long have you been here?" Harry said.

"About ten minutes. What about you three? What held you back?" Maurelle said.

"Neville, but I took care of it." Hermione said.

"Peeves was on the stairs too" Harry said.

"You won't believe what happened here, they're asleep." Maurelle pointed at the three headed dogs.

"Is that bad?" Ron said.

"Yes, because someone was here, look." Maurelle pointed at an instrument that was placing the dogs to sleep. "Follow me and help me remove their paw from the trap door."

They gently picked up the paw and moved it to the side. They opened the trap door and looked down to see nothing but darkness.

"I'll go first. Don't follow until I give you a sign. If something bad happens, get yourselves out." Harry said.

The other three nodded, but something felt unusual to Maurelle.

"Does it seem a bit quiet to you?" she asked them.

"The harp. It stopped playing." Hermione said.

Ron yelled out in disgust as he sees this white gooey substance drip on his shoulder. All of them slowly moved their heads up, and were faced with three headed dogs, fully awake.

Maurelle wasted no time and went into the trap door with no hesitation.

"Let's go!" She said as she fell in.

"Jump!" Harry followed up an so did the others.

They all fell down safely in to what seems to be roots.

"Lucky these plants are here." Ron said.

However, after Ron said that, the roots started to move on its own and wrap their vines to their bodies. They struggled to release from the tight grasp, but the more they fought, the harder the grip.

"Stop moving, Ron, Harry." Maurelle said.

"What?" Harry said.

"It's Devil's Snare." Hermione said.

"You have to relax. If you don't it'll only kill you faster." Maurelle said.

"Kill us faster?! Oh, now I can relax!" Ron kept on struggling.

Maurelle and Hermione looked at each other and rolled their eyes knowing that they won't really listen to them. Both of them decided to stop telling the boys and escape themselves. When the two girls relaxed, their bodies slowly descended.
