Link had landed on the platform that lead to the entrance first, and wasted literally no time aiding me with my landing. I felt slightly more secure to have my feet standing on something, and even more that Link was so understanding towards my unease. I stood hunched over with a hand on my knee, the other pressed to my forehead as I tried to steady my breathing, which proved difficult thanks to the thin air up here. Link stayed by my side and ran his hand up and down my back to calm me; he was being extremely patient which was more appreciated than he probably realised.

"You good?" He asked softly, and I nodded.

"I'm okay... just... can we never do that again...?"

The blonde chuckled "I'll add it to the list of absolute no no's."

My brow furrowed "What else is on the list?"

"Guardians and Lynels."

"You know what, I support that."

"Good," Link laughed wholeheartedly, his face forming a bright closed eyed smile that matched that of an innocent child. "Now, I gotta go activate that terminal. Will you be okay?"

I nodded semi confidently and he smiled, removing his hand from my back and grabbing the Shiekah Slate as he pressed it to the terminal. Like Ruta, a large circle behind us glowed blue, indicating a travel point. Link reattached his Slate to his waist and turned back to me, who was now standing upright.

"Well now, I've seen those faces before..."

A smooth, proud voice echoed through Medoh, much like Mipha's did when we boarded her beast. The blonde sighed out, not too thrilled to hear this person. "Hey, Revali..."

The voice chuckled, but I could practically hear an eye roll in it "Unfortunately I knew you'd show up. Although keeping me waiting a hundred years is a bit... indulgent."

I resisted the urge to verbally 'oof' and stared up at the Beast, my eyebrow raising as I thought about this 'Revali' guy. Obviously, he didn't get along with Link... I flinched when he directed his next words to me.

"Well well, you're her successor eh?" His tone was slightly judgmental "I suppose you'll do, you're much brighter than ponytail over there, anyway... and undoubtedly smarter."

I pursed my lips together as a snort threatened to escape, which had Link furrowing his brows at me. I coughed behind my fist and straightened "Sorry, that wasn't funny...."

Revali cleared his throat "Well anyway, I suppose you're here to take Medoh back from Ganon, correct?" Us nodding made him hum "Then you'll want to get yourselves a map. There'll be a guidance stone on the other side of the Beast, think you can make it there?"

"Better believe it." Link challenged, arms crossed across his chest.

"Then you'd better hurry up, I've been waiting long enough don't you think hero?"

The boy scoffed and marched into Medoh, with me following close behind. Being inside made me feel slightly safer, despite the life-sucking malice spilt all over the place. I glanced up at Link "You really don't get along with the Rito, do you?"

"It's not that. They... just don't like me much." He countered with a wonky grimace, fiddling with his long blonde sideburn "Perhaps Revali put a curse on me or something."

"Orrrrr you're just letting your opinion of him get in the way of that of others."

"That—" he paused, blue eyes giving off that 'O sh*t, u right' vibe as he struggled to find words. He finally gave up, however, and pivoted around "Oh hey look, creepy eye!"
