(A/N: So in this chapter I'm going to be introducing one of my own characters. Hope you like him)

Link steered Epona through a ravine, only to bring her to a trot when he turned a corner. Him and I looked up to a Japanese looking gate, and he glanced over his shoulder.

"You think this is the place?" He asked, to which I nodded as we entered a cute cultural looking village with curved roofed houses and lanterns hanging from anywhere. It was quite a sight.

"So... where do you suppose we find this 'Impa'?" Link asked after pulling our steed to a halt, I shrugged.

"I dunno," I glanced around "probably the biggest house of the village?"

"What makes you say that?"

"Just a hunch."

Link hummed, before tapping my arm gently as it was still wrapped around him "Anyways you can let go now, we aren't moving anymore."

I didn't let go, smirking as instead tightened my grip so tight it made him yelp.

"Ow!"

"That's what you get for messing with me." I scolded before letting go, allowing him to slide off Epona and rub his ribs painfully. He sent me a glare, but made no attempt to comment as he continued down the path. Giggling victoriously, I also dismounted and stroked the steeds beautiful coat. "Your master's an ass."

Epona let out a snort, which I decided to take as her laughing in agreement.

"Y/N!"

I tilted my me head back and groaned, my hand reaching into my pocket to pull out an apple to feed Epona "Gotta go, girl. Limp noodle needs me." I told her while scratching behind her ear, before running after Link. The two of us made our way through the village, and I soon became conscious of the people staring at us. Well... staring at Link, more specifically at the Shiekah slate he carried around. They seemed shocked, and even a little excited. But when either of us glanced in their direction, they looked away instantly.

That's new... I thought, eyebrow raised.

"Hey, Y/N." Link tapped my shoulder and pointed towards a particular house, which was bigger than the rest and had a staircase leading up to it. It even had a pair of white haired guards standing in front. "Looks like you were right about the big house thing."

I raised an eyebrow and we approached the guards, who seemed to tense up more the closer we got.

"Halt!"

We paused, eyes wide as the men sent us icy glares.

"Who are you?!" One growled "How dare you trespass upon Lady Impa's abode!"

Well... it seems like we were in the right place. But this is hardly what I'd call a welcome. Link stood in front of me, ready to retort, but the second guard cut him off with squinted eyes.

"Hold on. Is that... a Shiekah slate?" He exchanged glances with the other guard "It can't be... can it?"

After a moment they straightened, giving us a more welcoming vibe "Please forgive us for reacting so rudely. Of course we have heard legends from Lady Impa herself..." The second smiled "Please, friends... Go ahead and step inside."

And with that that they stepped aside, giving us access to the staircase. Link and I exchanged glances, but thanked the guards anyway and ascended up the stairs. Just as we reached the house itself, we spotted a woman crouched down scrubbing the floorboards. Link stopped and tilted his head, clearing his throat to get her attention. She looked up at Link, brown eyes widening as she shots up and hid her face.
